Same here. Ring stopped working and told that after Brexit the refund could not be made as before as "distribution company not carrying out refunds". You can refund on a credit card at anytime so this is clearly wrong. Also said to have selection staff in office but I am on list for action - this was 18mths ago and still nothing. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY would be my advice.
Scam company.
Last year in October 2019 my ring stopped working. I emailed Motiv and In December 2019 they finally said they were going to send me a ring since I was under warranty. Fast forward to March 2020 and not only had I not received my ring, but they told me my ring was 'stuck' in a warehouse and they couldn't send it yet. It's now September 2020 and still no replacement ring.
No refunds or returns despite warranty.
I usually don't write a lot of reviews let alone a negative one. I loved the ring when I first got it though it is quite pricey. Around 8 months in the battery life went from 4 days to less than one day. I was given a code to order a replacement which was great until I realised that the website won't allow new orders. I contacted Mymotiv directly to order a replacement as I was still within warranty and £200 is quite a chunk of money.
I was told that as they are no longer operating in Europe the will not replace NOR refund. Which is strange as the original one I have ordered was sent from the US as well. In other words "sorry you just wasted £200".
I would understand that they can't package or send it due to the current situation but online banking should still be available for a refund.
