They will assign you PCS legal which will take a good 2 (1Y 9 months to be exact) years from Mortgage approval to land registry. If the solicitor won't respond and if we raise this with my new move, the will simply say it is out of their hand. So good luck if you still decide to go ahead with them. Ultimately you will pay few extra months rent in your current property (if first time buyer) and constant metal stress dealing with a crappy Solicitor. Just managed to complete ll the paper work of the property I purchased in April 2021 (Mortgage approved in January 2021)! My best advice, pay few extra pounds and go to a solicitor next door.

3 wasted months and 200£ lost. PCS legal is answering until you send the money, after that there is a long waiting and nothing else.
STAY AWAY FROM pcs legal!!!

Gave them a 1 because minus 500 was not available. This is an update. We all know the scam. My New Move a web comparison site offer a LOCAL conveyancer. PCS Legal always win. They are in Essex, We are in the East Midlands. Money goes to My New Move stating 3rd party payment. PCS Legal do not look at the paperwork for 14 days, this invalidates the get out and refund clause, we cancelled with PCS Legal before 14 days but were told My New Move had not transferred the money. Have got an email from My New Move stating they were doing anti money laundering checks and also checks on property. How? They are not a legal company, (SIC Code on companies house has them down as Web Portals) Oh wait.... They are PCS Legal in disguise. So the update is I spoke to trading standards, they advised to send a recorded letter to My New Move, Address at Piccadilly Circus, London stating the failing of the company. I did, It was returned as REFUSED, Of course it was that is just an address where the company is registered, there not there in reality. They don't exist because they are PCS Legal in disguise. Now going back to Trading Standards, Also contacting watch dog and any other service I feel will shut this scam down.

I have never written a review like this , but feel this time round I have to speak up as the service I have received is shocking. I was told over 2 months ago I can expect a refund then a few weeks ago I also requested a copy of my search pack as was told how much they were going to deduct from my initial payment. Then to be told I would get a refund on the day and still not had anything. Then having to chase refund and calling them email etc no one answers call or emails. I think this company is immoral/unethical and wants innocent people caught in their web of deceit. Come on money isn't everything, stop trying to con people and commit to the service you offer, as people are paying for this from their hard earnt money. The number of reviews that state no refund and the period they have been waiting reconcile with my experience.

Too quick to take your initial deposit.They don't reply to your emails.Took ages to begin conveyancing, allocated me a slow conveyancing solicitor, changed her,only to give me another who was just as poor!

Received money for searches on 22nd September. Didn't search for them, then blamed council not being able to find property. Turns out they had failed to request them

Asked for complaints procedure - you have to email the same email they reply from.

A nasty little company

Had to appoint a conveyancer at short notice. After sending off my £240 to get the ball rolling, I decided to check genuine reviews (rather than the ones on the link provided by themselves), and didn't like what I saw. I contacted them, and asked for my money to be returned under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, as I was within 14 days. They responded by telling me I was not entitled to any refund, and to check their Terms and Conditions. Their Terms and Conditions document clearly states "If you do decide to cancel your instruction within 14 days you will be entitled to your full file opening fee minus any disbursement's paid out". They have failed, when requested, to provide details of any "disbursement's paid out". I suspect that in line with the experience of those who have left genuine reviews, it will now be a battle to get my money back.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!

After 5 months of requesting a refund they had the audacity to say that they do not have my bank details that were included in the initial email. The overall experience was PAINFUL, probably one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with in the UK. They never respond to their phone, take approximately half a month to reply to an email. Never ever consider them, unless you are masochist!

Hi, shocking service once they have taken you money and then when you go to review them on the official site you can't. 2 months on and still waiting for my refund. Fobbed off so many times!!! Stay well clear

MY NEW MOVE TRUST PILOT BIAS

THIS REVIEW HAS BEEN REMOVED THREE TIMES BY THE COMPANY, AND THEY ARE NOT KEEN TO HAVE THIS DISPLAYED, TRUSTPILOT KEEPS REMOVING IT, JUST WONDER WHY THIS REVIEW KEEPS GETTING FLAGGED!! obviously some truth and not happy to read by my new move! trust pilot must remain impartial and neutral and not get involved customers and companies, TRUSTPILOT MUST STAY OUT OF REVIEWS AND BE NEUTRAL!!!

MY NEW MOVE - UNETHICAL!
My New Move are an incredibly abrasive, unprofessional, unethical, money grabbing, company in cahoots with PCS Legal, and both work hand in glove to ensure they have a monopoly on conveyancing leads for each other. Both companies have been reported to the Legal Ombudsman, for their unprofessional behaviour. MNM allegedly conducted Anti Money Laundering checks for my wife, using the WRONG previous surname, and the result was, she ended up being a Russian Minister somewhere working in Russia! Unbelievable! She is a stay at home maker, with a medical condition IN England! They then told me that they charged me 40 POUNDS for an AML check that took TWO MINUTES computer check by a compliance company! Furthermore, when I challenged the AML checks, some person called CHYNA AUSTIN account manager at MNM said, "You can use the AML checks with another conveyancer, but we won’t be giving you your money back"!! The compliance company said CHYNA AUSTIN had no rights to have sent the results of the AML checks direct to us via email, as this was in breach of confidentially and GDPR rules! MNM took a deposit of 240 pounds off me, and then when I asked for a refund when I terminated PCS legal services, they said it would take 14 DAYS for refund back to my credit card! You can guess, they did not return the deposit within 14 days, so I now need to take them to a small claims court to recover my money! YOU HAVE BEEN WELL WARNED, KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Total scammers avoid stole £269 of me for nothing in cohorts with PCS legal they are taking large deposits quoting conveyancing fees low to draw people in when in fact the amount quoted is less than half the final bill if you pay any money to them you WILL NOT get it back even if your sale is not completed despite them saying no sale no legal fees you have been warned avoid both these companies

They put me through to PCS legal who did absolutely nothing towards our property purchase. I asked PCS legal for a refund and they directed me back to this lot who claim I can not get a refund due to being after 14 days. They are 100% working with PCS legal to scam money from anyone. Any good reviews about them are fake. DO NOT TRUST A WORD THEY TELL YOU, THEY ARE COMPLETE LIARS AND FRAUDSTERS.

Paid them on 21st September 2021 for a cash purchase on new home. Got passed to PCS Legal. Website stated they had conveyancers all over the country, however PCS Legal seem to win every time. Break the CLC law by not admitting they are working together. PCS Legal stated they had received no money from My New Move. Dumped PCS Legal who claimed they don't touch paperwork for 14 days, legal cooling off period is 14 days so they are contravening this. Went back to My New Move to ask for refund. Got a snotty email from Chyna Austin (Company owner is Brandon Austin) so could be a relative, my name spelt wrong, other words spelt wrong, double spacing and badly worded email. Have now gone to Ombudsman. Never use this company they are scammers, liar and cheats.

Do not use their services, I've paid them on 1st of July 2021 for Property Searches but they did not apply for them until 10th of September 2021, literally kept my money and did not provide me with the service on time. Their recomendation of a solicitor company was extremely bad beyond beleive, they've chosen the worst company for me which caused me to loose the property I liked. The property price has increased due to the reason that it was not completed on time. The deadline of the completion was not met by their Solicitor company. They are constantly out of reach by phone. There is no one available to talk. They do not refund money if the property transaction falls through even though they say so.

Put me in under PCS Legal who have dawdled and ignored me for 9 months resulting in a lost sale. My New Move refuse to accept responsibility or speak to PCS Legal on my behalf to recover my ownership documents as I move to a new solicitor. Beware, they are a take your money and run scam company.

Mynewmove is the worst conveyancer ever. Please do not use them, you will just waste your money. They will transfer you to PCS Legal, no work will be done. The seller pulled out of the sales as 3 months later, nothing was done, not even the searches. Had to call them every week just to request the drafts from the seller's solicitors. I had to do their work, useless! Asked for my refund as I lost the sale of my dream property and they will not refund! How can I report them to higher institutions?? They should not even exist, they should be barred!

I was referred by My New Move to a firm of conveyancers called PCS Legal. All I can say is read the reviews on them!!! Horrific. You get what you pay for. Instructed them 2nd August, they have not even applied for searches. I have lost my purchase as a result. Do not use!

I used my new move to find a conveyancing solicitors as local solicitors in my area were triple the price of what My New Move quoted. I was directed to a solicitor that handled the case very well.
