Poor customer service and experience. Be careful.
As many others have written, I would not recommend signing a contract with MyNewsDesk.
Although they seemed helpful and quite slick in the sales phase, it is very difficult to get out of your contract. The 90-days cancellation on an annual subscription is draconian and certainly gave us the sense that they have little understanding or concern about their customers or their customers' situations.
After missing the 90-day deadline by a few days last year and being charged the full annual fee, which is relatively expensive, we have tried for the better part of a year to get them to cancel the subscription this time. The after-sales customer service and finance functions have been very difficult to work with in our experience. We've had to go so far as contacting a lawyer, unfortunately.
Results-wise? I would rate them as so-so. Lots of exposure by bots on insignificant sites that questionably do anything for your brand other than a bit of SEO, perhaps. That's why we quit using MyNewsDesk in the first place.
Getting quality PR exposure is hard and it is tempting when a service like this claims to be able to automate results. We have had a bad experience with MyNewsDesk, will never work with them again nor allow our clients to do so and would advise anyone else to be very careful before you sign.
