The team at my pension expert did all the hard work sorting and chasing my pension companies to bring them all into one pension, they kept me up to date with every step. The only thing I had to do was sign some paperwork, made my life a lot easier. They are a great team that look after you from the start and are always there when you need them, I know the charges may be a bit higher than some other companies but you get what you pay for as far as I’m concerned.
I highly recommend them if you are looking to combine multiple pensions or just pension advise you pay if you take their advice and proceed with them.

Very Poor Experience
I've not had a good experience with this company at all. I emailed Pension Wise to book an appointment to speak to someone and literally a minute later, while I was still at work, the phone rang and I found myself being asked a lot of questions about my pensions by an advisor from My Pension Expert. It took a while for her to tell me she wasn't actually from Pension Wise. She then told me I would receive an illustration of what they could do for me by email and someone would call me to speak further the next day. The email arrived and the illustration was a lot worse than my current pensions would provide which I told the next advisor on the phone call the next day. Another hour and a lot of questions later I was told yet another advisor would phone me the next day. The person whose name I had been given didn't call, but someone else did. A further 90 minutes later, having been talked at for most of that time, I was told I would receive a new illustration by email and could then decide whether I wanted them to look into my current pensions to see whether it would be worth switching over and only then would I need to make a decision. The next thing I know I've received 3 emails asking me to sign application forms for My Pension Expert to transfer all my pensions to their preferred fund and someone is calling me to 'talk you through the signing process'. There was no illustration at all of how their fund might perform. I refused and asked them to call me back in a couple of days as I was exhausted at the time and pretty confused by what I'd been sent. The next morning I received another form by post asking me to fill in information about my beneficiaries so when my pension was moved they would have the information about who should receive it after my death. Today I received a call from yet another person! It was a very confusing process and I can't imagine I would ever want to use a company that passes me from pillar to post and then sends documents asking me sign things away before I've said I wanted to. I'm quite concerned that someone could do this without fully realising what they've done. Looking at the other 1 star reviews on here, as well as my own experience, I wouldn't advise anyone to use them.

My overall experience was one of relief that I had someone to speak to if I required assistance. Although somewhat protracted (probably due to some hesitation on my behalf) I was kept up to date on a regular basis and knew I could always pick the phone up if needed.
