Awful company!

Awful company!
I did sign up to get PPI checked out in '19 but then heard nothing until the beginning of the year when they claimed I owed then the fee from the payment I'd just received. Rung the bank and they had no record of anything being done. Sent them a email stating that and nothing until 2 weeks ago saying they are sending the bailiffs round if I don't pay with a copy of the contract . Sent a email asking for a copy of the paperwork and a cheque number so I could check it via my bank. Got the same email back stating the same thing, I mailed back asking again they sent back a copy of agreement from Natwest to pay back the PPI. I pointed out that wasn't proof I'd cashed a cheque and they told me to check with Natwest. I did. Turned out they had sent a cheque to PPI refunds not me and that normal practice is to take out their share before pasing it on. The date of the payment? 5th October... 2021! Sent them a email telling them not to contact me again.

STOP THESE PEOPLE CAUSING HARRASSMENT

Absolutely mirror what JB has said, this lady ( and thats being generously kind) must have called me after speaking to you, because she was now rudeness personified !
They have sent us numerous letters threatening legal action, which I have asked them to refrain from doing. They claimed to put our account on hold until we actually receive funds from this claim. Despite this the letters keep coming weekly, this is utter harrassment and I intend reporting this to both FCA and FOS.
That so called lady needs a lesson in Customer Services and how to speak with people..........so rude.

Dreadfully rude. Don’t even know or understand their own Ts&Cs.

Had a good initial experience on two previous PPI refund payment processes, but this one was really awful. Totally destroyed my impression of the company.

Today: Dreadfully rude, ignorant, bullish and bullying credit controller, who just shouted over me endlessly. They have demanded payment of their arbitrary amount 20% fee despite (a) the bank in question and I not having yet agreed on the actual amount of PPI refund due as documents have gone missing at the bank and (b) the same person now totally contradicting what she said I should do when we last spoke (yes, she admitted she was the same person!!) back in January. So, having been explicitly told, ‘I’ve logged your situation on your notes so no one will bother you for payment, just talk to the bank then call us when you’re ready, and ignore the auto-generated letters chasing for payment of our fee’, today she is chasing hard for payment regardless of my not having received any refund as yet.

I invited her to listen back to recording of our previous conversation so she could hear what I had been told. She refused. She then announced that she had looked at my account and she was the person I’d spoken to previously and that she didn’t need to listen back to the conversation as I had obviously misunderstood what she had said?!

She then just kept speaking over me whenever I tried to interject and kept yelling, quoting their terms at me ... which actually say their fee is due ‘IF you’ve received any payments’ that come from a My PPI Refund complaint.

She then kept changing her tune, saying if you pay today by 6pm I will take off the additional late payment charges. I asked her to repeat this - she then said, if you pay by 6pm today, we might consider removing the late payment charges. I asked her to arrange for her manager to call me.

I wish these people would read their own terms! But thanks for sending them to me again so I can see how wrong you’ve been - very helpful!

No manager has bothered to call. I doubt she even requested it.

FCA complaint coming up.

Cowboys Cowboys Cowboys 🤠 🤠 🤠

This company will contact you via phone & get your details. They will tell you that they'll send agreement in post. Which you will never receive. They'll claim on your behalf if successful the bank will send you the money (even though you have not signed an agreement) They (PPI) will send you their bill.

Just ignore them and wait for court date. Which will never happen. You'll get a letter/ email threatening you with bailiff proceedings I moved out of the address and blocked their email

I did not ask this company to do on my behalf. Didn't k ow anything until I received payment from the bank. I ask this company for a copy of my signature. It was not mine. Told them it was fraud. The bank doesn't want to know. They did not see my signature so why pay out. I'm now getting letters telling me legal process and costs will be added. I'm older person really don't know what to do. When I tried to pay the bank said it could be a scam and didn't put the payment through. I really frightened I've never be in this situation.

Myppirefund very satisfactory

Myppirefund contacted me , i had the ppi 17 years ago, i asked how much their fee was they said 20% i gave them the go ahead, they got an award of around 500 pounds, and asked for their share 20% , they did not hassle me and retrieved the payment, i did not have to do anything, i think this was a good service, some of these ppi refund firms, charge 50% so best sort that out before proceeding then you don't get a nasty shock, very good service

Absolute fraudsters

Absolute fraudsters. I did engage with them initially, but cancelled within the alloted time frame. They have continued to approach all the financial institutions that I am dealing with directly still as if they are acting for me which they are most certainly not. I have threatened legal action as this is blatant misrepresentation. Do not use them, you can do it yourself!

There should be new laws regarding…

There should be new laws regarding these companies, I have received notification from banks with award notices.. Until I called myppirefund I did not hear a thing.. However once contacted an instant update arrived by email as if they had done all the work and kept me informed.. This is a get out so they can charge there fees, all they did was sent a form I could have sent my self.. Now I will have to pay them ALOT for my own time wasted trying to call them.. Should have been the other way round.! I have not been paid out; yet they send letters demanding payment and if it isn't paid like other comments high charges will apply.
I've been trying again to contact them with no luck.
Its funny really the claims are for miss sold
Products and services by banks.. I think this is a bigger untouchable miss sold service, the laws are really against the normal working man.

Do Not Touch

Hi Very poor company. Do not use. Currently under investigation from my building society over my case. Gained a PPI refund on my behalf, received the cheque Themselves then demanded my percentage from me . Denied all knowledge of the cheque despite the Building Society assuring me that it had been sent.
Their phone representatives are abusive when you ring to query. Hopefully with the PPI deadline passed, these scammers will disappear under a stone and take all their staff with them

Absolute rubbish service

Absolute rubbish service, paid them £77 and still haven’t received ppi refund. If you’re thinking of contacting them, PLEASE DON’T. Save your money and do it yourself; send an email & fill in the form online to whoever owes you the money, it’s much easier and you’ll have peace of mind.
