I received a $25 gift card as a…

I received a $25 gift card as a birthday gift which I forgot I had. I tried to use the card and it said 0 balance comes to find out I was charged a fee for every month I had the card for inactivity. I will be reaching out to the Credit Union which is Diversified Members Credit Union to inform them to purchase their gift cards from a different vendor as I am sure they do not know that you are charging there members an inactive fee and the cards balance is wiped out. This company is a scam is should be ashamed. I was totally embarrassed when I tried to use the card and they have taken the balance.

Like other reviewers I see here

Like other reviewers I see here, I received this card through the Fetch app as a cash card reward for scanning receipts, however after activating my card I found that nowhere will accept my card, and i mean literally everywhere has rejected it, and as with other reviewers it's impossible to contact customer service or receive any sort of recourse.

Complete scam

Complete scam. I have a $1,000 gift card from this site, and it gets rejected on every single website that I try to use it on. I've called customer service several times, and have never been able to get through to someone who can help. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, it is clearly a scam.

The prepaid cards offered aren't accepted anywhere; it's like having a digital paperweight.
The worst part is support don't answer emails, and when you call, you get a bot instead of a support agent. A terrible experience.

Useless

Useless! So many bad reviews here all for the same thing - money in card but card doesn’t work.

I’ve got a card and it initially worked and then magically stopped working. The website is incredibly complicated and limited.

No way to email or raised a support request you must call and spend ages on hold to speak to someone who hasn’t got a clue.

Avoid at all costs!

This company is a real scam. I received a $100 Visa card from myprepaidcenter.com and tried to use it on dozens of websites - every single payment was rejected. I even added it to Google Wallet, but that didn’t work either. Looking at other reviews here, it’s clear I’m not alone: nobody can actually spend these cards. Total waste of time and money.

This company will rip you off. (Allegedly)

This company is trash and run by sleezy people with sleezy practices . This is what happens when scammers get a card company in my opinion. If you don’t use your prepaid card for a short amount of time , their company just starts taking money from it until the balance is gone! What??? How is that even legal. And good luck trying to get ahold of anyone, they are all hiding in their scam center (allegedly).

Nothing works

Have $$ worth of codes that doesn't work, and can't be redeemed as the site keeps erroring. One you are able to redeem one of the cards, it can't be used on any site, so its essentially worthless. Still have remaining codes that can't be used.

Just use literally any other gift card service

The website is very janky, half the time it refuses to load and when it does it's extremely slow and glitchy. Perhaps it's on my end, but other websites work just fine so I have a suspicion that this specific site is just not great performance wise.

Recently I received a $25 gift card from a survey rewards site, after activation a popup came up saying something along the lines of 'you will receive your physical card soon.' I never gave any confirmation that I actually wanted to receive a physical card, yet I was down $3. Upon reloading the website to make sure it wasn't a glitch the same pop-up appeared and I was down another $3.
I just submit a dispute with the form via email however I don't expect much out of doing this as the company has already demonstrated quite a bit of greed with it's 'inactivity fees' and other issues that many have mentioned here.

Sure, me stressing over $6 is a bit of an overreaction however I have no doubt people have had similar experiences with much larger amounts of money. Safe to say I will not be using this service again unless major changes are made to the website and the way the services are run overall.

got a card in the mail. went to activate it, said error, tried again, another error. had to call them up, the lady told me it was my issue not theirs and told me to "stick the card up my a$$" and hung up and blocked my number. dissapointing

Avoid

The card cannot be used on:
- Steam
- PayPal
- Kinguin
- Gamesplanet
- Google Wallet
- Samsung Pass

There is no possible way to use my founds from the card available on My Prepaid Center. All transactions are rejected.

The only thing that somehow worked was a gift card on Amazon.

Don't expect to get much help with a problem

I can't log in to check my card balance, and I can't access the system by phone - it asks me to enter various numbers and always tells me I was incorrect (I wasn't) and then disconnects. So, zero customer support.
Edit - still can't log into my account, and when I try to do the "forgot password" thing, it doesn't send the email it promises in order to reset a password. But at least this time I was able to get through on the phone to their automated system. The process was long and arduous, but I finally was able to learn my account balance. No option available that I heard to talk to someone about not being able to log in. I'll just use up the balance and hope I never get one of their cards again.

Garbage, RipOff company

My credit card expired on 08/2025. Almost a week prior of my card expiring, I was no longer able to use the rest of the funds. It kept giving me errors to login. Almost $30.00 left on there. Customer service number didn't work either.
Now that the card is officially expired, now customer service phone number works. I could even see the card on the portal platform. USELESS!

I have a 500 dollar card that is basically useless, I’ve tried to use even in stores that my prepaid center claim as partners. After calling and waiting for and hour they say that they can’t do anything because decline purchases are not reflected in the system. So

I got a $5 usd but can’t do anything with it

I got a $5 from Twitch Survey, but I can’t pay for anything with it probably because I mistyped my email address when activating the code. I thought, okay, no problem, I’ll just contact support. But nope if you’re outside the US, you can’t reach support unless you call a number that costs more than the card is worth. I can’t even link the card to the account I created a while back. So I guess the card and those $5 will just sit there forever. I don’t really need it, but it’s just a bad customer experience

They Won't Allow You To Collect

They do everything they can to prevent you from getting your cash/card. If they prevent you from collecting a settlement, mine is just $7, they probably get to keep the money. So they make it impossible for millions of people to collect $7 and the CEO gets a huge bonus.

Never use these cards outside the US!

I purchased this card through the XTRM service with a value of $15. When registering, I indicated that I am located in a European country and confirmed my address, then I received the card details. After that, a real nightmare began: I tried every possible way to buy at least something with it. My payments were declined when trying to purchase on Amazon, Temu, Steam; when attempting to top up a crypto exchange balance; when buying online service gift cards; when paying for subscriptions; and when purchasing prepaid cards with balance. Please note that I tried making purchases both in USD and EUR. Also, the problem is definitely not related to exceeding the limit, since the price of the product was much lower than the card’s value. I don’t know how it works for American users, but Europeans under no circumstances should buy these. And the most interesting part is that support is only available by phone and only in the US and Canada.
