UX Academy (myuxacademy.com) is a UK live online UX design school run by Nomadic User Ltd, built for career-changers and working professionals. Unlike self-paced video courses, every session is live over Zoom, one evening a week, in a small cohort of no more than 15 students, led by named UK practitioners (lead instructor: Natalia Veretenyk). Students work on a real client project, not just a portfolio piece. Courses run from 4 to 12 weeks, priced at GBP 1,500 with a GBP 99 refundable deposit and interest-free payment plans on request. A 30% scholarship is available for designers from underrepresented groups. UX Academy is an independent UK school and is not affiliated with Designlab, a separate US company whose product is also called "UX Academy." Next cohort starts 21 September 2026.

A great place to begin your UX journey
I've completed both the beginners and intermediate UX design courses as a result of sparking a passion for UX within. This was a good decision and investment as a base. Teaxchers were absolutely great with tons of experience in big companies with real life examples and tasks that helped us understand and put in practice UX strategies, whilst being overlooked and advised by professionals. Would totally recommend.
I completed the UX Academy course run…
I completed the UX Academy course run by Mobile UX London back in June 2018 and it was a great user experience. At the time I was working as a Junior UX Designer at the very start of my career. The course was taught by four passionate tutors who had a variety of expertise & experiences. The best part of the course was working in small groups to put everything we learnt into practice. It was a great opportunity to meet other course mates and UX’rs & UX enthusiasts. And it was interesting to learn from their experiences. It’s a really affordable way to learn more about the UX Design process.
