Customer service non responsive

I ordered a replacement power lead for a radio. I put make and model into the website and it brought up a lead. When it arrived the jack is far too big so obviously not the correct one, despite emailing the company twice now asking to return the item (their website says they accept return) I have had no response from them as to the action I take for returns

Always Quality

I've ordered a few items from Myvolts over the years. They've often resolved issues for me, and when a manufacturer doesn't supply a power adaptor (which I find ridiculous) or i need new but at a good price. My Volts always comes out on top.

Excellent experience with this company

Excellent experience with this company! Found exactly what I needed on the website. The price was very reasonable and the delivery lightning quick. I cannot praise this company too highly. Will definitely be recommending them to everyone.
My new power lead has resurrected my GPO record player and I am absolutely delighted!

Dusted down my old Roberts radio that must be around 30 years old and of course, charger long lost. Found one from this company and it arrived within a few days even tho it came from the Netherlands. Works perfectly! Excellent!

My line6 podgo lives!

Perfect! Brilliant experience. My friend advised me to buy a Line6 PodGo pedal. I bought a second hand one without a power adaptor and everywhere online said that Line6 use a proprietary power plugin. I found myvolts, put in what I was looking for and paid. I received it within a couple of days and it works perfectly!

Excellent Customer Service

I ordered and received a PSU for a Creative speaker. On arrival whilst the plug worked with the Creative speaker it felt a bit loose. I mention this to MyVolts and the response was excellent and an adaptor arrived very quickly which resolved the problem.

A company that listens and provides excellent Customer Service.

The measure of a good company is how it responds when it falls short…

I wasn't going to leave a review here too but I'm astonished at the response they gave to the review I left on the MyVolts link (which you can't access unless it's a 5star).

I simply stated I ordered a 6v adaptor for a Bush DAB and even gave the model number. The image that came up was not of an adapter that also needed a converter attached which is what I got.

Yes it works and it fits but I just wanted others to know that the image is only a representation of what you get and that you could just by the converter. I marked it fairly at 3 which I see as average. I'm now going adding a review to an established platform marking it a 2 because they responded and said:

Dear Customer, we hear that the power supply unit you received fits and "works fine". We also stated clearly that this is our myVolts-branded replacement. If it fits and works fine - in what way could it be better to match your expectations?

Errrm. Don't have an image of something you didn't provide maybe? Possibly explain you won't get what you asked for? Just the basics 🙄

***UPDATE***

Well, although it was a bit if a pfaff, the resolution has been a satisfactory one. An understanding and appreciation of the feedback was evident in the response - an apology and full refunds through Amazon.

The measure of a good company is how it responds when it falls short. I have reflected that by upgrading my initial 2 star rating to a 4 star rating.

We are sorry to hear about your bad experience and for our failing to be empathetic enough, as we can see now. We definitely owe you a word of explanation, as we feel we might have been misunderstood: the absence of the tip adapter (size converter) on the photos of the product is not a result of our bad will or intent to hide it. The tip adapter is only included with some unusual, less popular models, which are not available straight from our manufacturing partner with the required size of the connector and where the only way to provide our customers with a product that will fit their end device is to add the extra converter. Unfortunately, with dozens of thousands of products in our shop, for technical reasons our small team is not able to add the converter on the pics of those rare products where we include it. And it is only very rarely that customers see the unexpected small part as an issue - most of them being happy the product fits and works reliably for years.
On having seen your product review and responded to it, the next thing we did was search for your order with the intention of refunding it, yet were not able to. Thank you for reminding us here that our job of supporting you has not been completed yet. If you email us and provide your order details, we will refund your purchase in full without any hassle - as we always do if the customer is telling us they are not happy with what they got (which - we are proud to say - happens only rarely). Apologies again - and thank you.

It's such a pity however that you never even bothered to call us or drop us an email to give us a chance to resolve this issue. We never leave any cuatomer with a product-related issue unresolved! It could be that the item you received got damaged in transit, or a packing error happened on our end... (By the way, you are saying the parcel in which your order arrived should have contained the power supply AND, additionally, a connector adapter (tip adapter) (DD864GU) that fits your particular Korg Opsix model. Did you receive that tip adapter in your package?). As usual in such cases, we'll either provide a cost-free solution or refund your purchase in full. We look forward to hearing from you.

Payment taken but they mark it internally as unpaid so dont deliver


Whilst I am sure the products may be good, unfortunately I have to agree with others that the admin etc is poor. I placed an order and they took the money straight away. Receipt emailed 3 Oct 2024. I allowed nearly two weeks to pass by, given what I had read about delivery times, their slowness and being based outside UK. I chased up only to find that they took the money 3 Oct 2024 but somehow marked my order as unpaid, so did not send it out. When we place orders online payment is taken immediately. The company sent me a receipt. It raises questions about their accounting systems.Unbelievable. At least they did not pretend it had been sent, or was the fault of Royal Mail.

Unfortunately, whilst customer service tried to send out the goods again matters went from bad to worse and there were further delays. ( I was kept in the dark about DPD and customs returning the goods).The company should make it very clear in bold on their website that goods will take a while and that they are being shipped from the Netherlands.I do not know why customs are returning their products. Shipping info is only seen in the small print. So if you are in no hurry then you can just order from them and wait, but keep in touch with the company as errors occur. The company has refunded me, so they have tried their best. I will upgrade 1 star to 3 stars, but they need to keep on top of system/ admin errors and communicate with customers more. Nearly a month to receive some plugs is way too long.

We are sorry about this incident, which first started with a system error and then, once we dispatched the items ordered immediately upon noticing it (we upgraded the delivery method, free of charge for the Customer), it got even worse when the parcel was stuck with DPD (who eventually returned it to us). Upon realizing the delivery was running late, we re-shipped the item - by Royal Mail this time - and it was delivered on 30 October. Unfortunately, in spite of our efforts, the order arrived 3 weeks after the promised date, so in addition to apologising to the Customer, we decided to refund the order in full as per the Customer's request. That's all we could do in this case. Fortunately, such an accumulation of adverse circumstances is extremely rare and our Customers normally receive their orders within 3-4 business days.

Fabulous company

Fabulous company. Ordered a replacement plug for a Pure radio. Unfortunately the courier delivered to the wrong address. I sent pictures of my door and the delivered door. No poroblem, they re sent a replacement immediately.
I had follow up emails all the way to delivery. Don’t usually post but the service was so good I thought I had better make the effort.
Would recommend in an instant!
