Extremely disappointing experience! This app seems designed to take your money during activation and then never actually activate your account. After payment, you’re left waiting indefinitely with no proper support. There is no helpdesk—only email—and even after a week, there’s no response. This is unacceptable and feels like a scam. I’ve used MyWheel several times and when everything works, the service is fine. But the moment something goes wrong, it turns into a complete nightmare. Their so-called “customer service” is basically non-existent.
I’ve been trying for weeks to get in touch with them about a fine. I tried through the app, by email, and never got a single response. No chat option, no phone number, nothing. And yet, they are very quick to send a collection agency after you.
It’s honestly shameful that a company in 2025 doesn’t even offer a simple chat to contact them. This is hands down the worst customer support experience I’ve ever had. I’ll never use MyWheel again and strongly recommend others to stay away.

One word: SCAMMERS
I booked a car several days in advance because I had important appointment. Just to found out they over-booked it for somebody else and moved my trip to another car far from me a few minutes before my reservation. Please stay away from them, they are not trusted.

I love the idea of car sharing, but the app is terrible and any follow up customer service non-existent. I have tried to register, first the license registration wouldnt come through, still waiting on a answer to an email i sent more than a month ago. Now the payment method verification wont go through and called, was referred to the chat, the chat takes 2 days to answer, and I suspect nothing will come of that.

This was my first time trying MyWheels, and it will be my last: aside from the car being totally disgusting outside and inside, upon returning the car the charging tag was missing from the glove compartment. Without the tag, charging at the station is impossible. The app therefore did not allow me to end my trip. The app did give me the warning that I could be fined for leaving the car at a charging station without charging it. Customer service took around 2 hours to respond through the chat. Was I supposed wait 2 hours next to the car to prevent a fine? When customer service finally responded, they told me they could only manually end my trip at the current time of their contact with me (i.e. 2 hours or so after my trip actually ended). If I wanted to dispute being overcharged for 2 hours, I needed to send an email to the email address mentioned in these trust pilot reviews: support at mywheels.nl
The very e-mail address that nobody apparently ever receives an answer from according to the reviews in Trustpilot, which is exactly in line with my experience. In the meantime, I have been charged with a much higher trip fee than I should have been.
Get your sh1t together MyWheels! And offer a better solution to your clients than asking them to email to an address that never replies, while you collect their money illegitimately.
Update August 24, 2025:
After sending 3 emails over the past week to the exact email address mentioned by MyWheels in their response, I have never received an answer.
What I did receive was a payment reminder for the too high sum MyWheels charged me for my trip.
Now, MyWheels wants me to send another email with “Trustpilot complaint” in the title and implies that when I do that, the issue will be solved. Does MyWheels only take customers seriously after they write a complaint on Trustpilot? Or is MyWheels merely attempting to save face on Trustpilot? We shall see. I will keep writing updates as this matter unfolds.

The operator close the phone sudenly without any word. The conversation was terminated bynher closing the phone direct .

i received a parking fine for 100 eu but i stopped my trip the day before. The fine was at 10:41 the next day and i stopped my trip at 16:44 the previous day. And i parked at a charging station in the blue zone. So i didn't do anything wrong to receive that fine. I mailed many times to the support mail and made a ticket at the help desk. Still no response after 3 weeks.

Great service with vehicles conveniently located around the city.
One star less because the cars are frequently left very dirty by some users and many have multiple scratches / dents.

MyWheels as an app and a product is excellent, I really love it BUT - if anything goes wrong - and it will - the customer support is impossible to reach. I have been emailing them for over a month with my current complaint and I have a similar concern most months, it normally takes two weeks to reply, this one is over 4 weeks. Last time they escalated my case to a debt collector so I just paid the EUR20 to avoid the hassle... they eventually refunded this amount once they figured out what went wrong. Of course no apology or compensation.
So if you are considering MyWheels I would consider alternatives first.
Come on MyWheels, you can do better.

Had terrible experience - car was parked in the wrong spot before me, turns out I needed it to park in the right spot, but there is no sign. So ended up getting fine 120 euro while i followed all instructions religiously. Furthermore, no phone number in the app is available. When found some number online, they told me to email my complaint to boete[@]mywheels.nl - got email back saying this email doesn't exist.

I’ve been a regular user of MyWheels and generally liked the service, but this recent experience has completely broken my trust.
I upgraded to the Plus plan for just one month, and immediately after subscribing, I tried to downgrade back to the free plan. The app wouldn't let me. It kept showing a message that I could only switch at the end of the billing cycle. Fine. But then, when that date arrived, it was already too late - the app had rolled me into another month automatically and charged me again. €10 wasted for a plan I didn’t want and tried to cancel in time.
Even worse: I emailed customer support and got NO RESPONSE. Not even an acknowledgment. Just repeated automated emails asking me to pay an invoice I clearly disputed.
This feels like a deliberate trap: the app gives no option to schedule a downgrade in advance, meaning you’re basically forced into paying for at least two months. It’s a shady tactic and extremely disappointing coming from a company I used to recommend.
Unless MyWheels fixes this and starts treating their customers with respect, I’m done, and I’ll be warning others not to fall for the same trick.

Everything is quite straightforward, a lot of in app help, good help part of app and customer service
The only downside is language in app
Even if English is selected parts of help are in Dutch
