Naked came through where others didn't
I was able to purchase a very limited pair of sneakers from Naked that were completely sold out here in the States. Order shipped Monday after being accepted Friday and got to NYC by Tuesday via DHL, which was amazing. The all-in price was very close to all the EQL raffles I entered here Stateside. A great buying experience and the shoes of course are amazing!

Shipping costs and import duties/taxes are separate charges, and for U.S. orders these fees are not included in the shipping price paid at checkout. We do state this before purchase, but I completely understand that it is frustrating to receive an additional bill from DHL.

Customer service responded quickly and politely, but I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility. I received a gift card for the store, but the item I wanted was only available online. It was not possible to use the gift card online, exchange it for a digital gift card, or have the item sent to the store. I was still trying to make a purchase from the company, yet no alternative solution was offered. Good communication, but a very inflexible customer policy.

Order confirmed, then cancelled due to an inventory error. Customer service was polite and eventually explained the situation, but no solution or goodwill gesture was offered despite the mistake being on the retailer's side.

Great company in Denmark I believe. They shipped super fast. I had to pay DHL import duties to the US but it was worth it as they had shoes I couldn't find anywhere. Their customer service team was fast to respond to my email and I would definitely purchase again.

Shameful return policy.
Charging customers for returns can still be understandable. But refusing to provide a prepaid return label with negotiated company shipping rates is absolutely outrageous in 2026, especially for a European retailer with physical stores abroad.
Returning a 100€ item should not cost customers close to half the purchase price.
You would honestly be better off refusing returns entirely rather than pretending to offer a “return policy” that becomes financially absurd in practice.
Very disappointing customer service, no flexibility, no commercial gesture, despite a polite request and despite having a Paris store.
First and last experience with NAKED Copenhagen. Avoid.

Great shoes, highly disappointed
Make it very clear that there will be import charges. I has to pay 70 dollars for a pair of shoes. Also the shoes are tight but I can't even return it because I'll have to pay import charges again.
