Naked Wines (US) Reviews 

The quality is service is now bordering pathetic with deliveries being slow and sometimes late. Emails are responded to automatically and proper answers take a while to a materialise. The advertising and there so called free offerings are also misleading imo as they are not free, they are dependent upon orders being placed. I have an order outstanding - purchased last Monday and here it is Friday and still not despatched.

Sadly I would like to review the company with only two stars , I placed an order that was due to arrive on a certain date. This order was unfortunately not only cancelled once but twice due to an apparent unfortunate delay of not being put on the trailer for local delivery. I cannot state that the communication could
Not of been handled more efficiently by this company and sadly the review is due to their chosen courier and I think they should consider other options within this realm. I’m yet to try the wine but having looked briefly it’s interesting to say the least. I would like to state I grew up in pubs and wine bars and I’m hard to please so I expect the wine for most is pleasantly pleasing and do not take this review as a recommendation not to order on wine quality. I wish in my experience I could rate higher than two stars and this is only due the order I put was late for the purpose of the order and ultimately the downfall is the courier however the buck lies with the company sadly

rubbish delivery service , only half a consignment despatched . cannot get an update , customers services email says at least 72 hours to respond .

Customer on/off over a few years. The wines can be very good - especially if you go for the highly rated ones (no big surprise!) The customer service has been fantastic and quick. I made a mistake, and they rectified it promptly without disputing it. Shows great customer care and integrity. If you like your wine, want to try something different, or want to save for wines for an event over time, it is highly recommended.

Need to stop with the tricky wording to get you into ordering product and adding credit to your account without being crystal clear about their intentions.

The first experience was when I had inadvertently signed up for a monthly bank on funds. No issues I would use it anyway. Second time was the dont miss out and we will remind you when the next vintage arrives in stock, just click here and we will remind you. Clicking here signs you up for a reminder one week before they will send you 6 bottles and charge you. Not today Josephine. Account cancelled and last box of wine ordered.

Brilliant selection of wines and excellent service

Naked delivery service is chaotic. It involves walking around my area looking for my case of wine. Whilst staff are pleasant they appear unable to resolve the issue. Overall Naked Wines have gone downhill in the last few years and I’m glad to cancel my membership as it’s too stressful chasing up delivery.

Always receive lovely wines at keen prices - love to hear the stories of the suppliers and to help them on their journey - love being an Angel for the wineries across the world.

Been with Naked for many years great wines, but, their delivery model is a farce. Boxes left on the drive, the usual “we tried to deliver” emails. I can’t think of any other organisations that kocks up their deliveries as much. Yesterday the delivery drivers van broke down at the end of our drive, after fiddling around he got it going and drove off with out completing the delivery. Sure enough today we get the usual “we tried to deliver” mail. If there was anything that would lead us to cancel it would be delivery. Nice wine, but…

Was offered a great Angels deal - but I wasn't expecting how bloody good it was... and the wine was 'exceptional' - so damn good, I immediately purchased a second box. Hands down, the best selection I've ever ordered from any wine delivery service. Bloody brilliant! 5 stars!

Warning! The company signed me up to a subscription without me knowing and now I can’t remove my credit card from their account. I have to go to my bank to block it.

Naked Wines took a large amount of money from my account after I had cancelled it. Then delivered wine to an old address wherre I did not live, carried on doing so then told me it was all my fault when I found out and did not send any evidence to back up what they claimed. Strikes me as a desperate company with no customer accountablity.

Excellent wines & Service.

The wines are pretty good.
But!!
My problem is the awful delivery service.
Even paying £7.99 extra for a guaranteed delivery day, does not guarantee anything.
They rarely deliver on the stated date.
Absolutely useless!
I am cancelling my subscription.

Have been a member of Naked Wines for 5 years but 2 years ago decided to go tea total. I have approximately £400 still in my account but they refuse to return any money back even though I have contacted them numerous times. I’ve now given up. They are aware of this situation but continue to text and email me with offers even though I have told them I am no longer a member and repeatedly unsubscribed from receiving their emails & texts. Feel harassed and of course out of pocket and were so close to Christmas ☹️.

Like others, also ordered one case last December as a gift, no mention of a subscription service, and have found out months later I have a £160 credit, which they wont return and I dont drink wine!

I have been a subscriber to Naked Wines for 14 years, and I agree with most of the other current reviews. The wine itself is very good and allows you to enjoy wines from small suppliers, very laudable, very nice.

The problem is the delivery service that they use. 3 of the last 4 orders I have placed have been late, usually by up to a week. This has been blamed on procedural changes in the warehouse but more recently has been down to their contracted delivery company failing to turn up on the designated day or even at all, they have even lied to cover up their non-attendance, often there is no e-mail notification of the time slot for your delivery (from either the delivery company or Naked Wines themselves).

Any e-mail or complaints you send in may well be answered with 24 hours but this does not have much sway on the delivery company. And the delivery is already missed.

I would use them but only if you are incredible flexible in your delivery collection ability.

after a promotional purchase some months ago i noticed that they has take additional payment out of my account. There was no agreement or contract signed, no notification. in other words they were illegally removing money from my account. i spoke to them with regards this matter and they are fully aware that the process is not compliant and refunded me straight away as long i was not going to proceed with this matter
