Very frustrating experience.

Very frustrating experience.

I would not recommend ordering from this brand, especially if you’re ordering to the UK. The items are very overpriced for the quality the material feels cheap and doesn’t justify the price at all.

What made the experience worse was the extremely slow customer service. It took weeks just to get a response regarding a return. Even when you follow the return process properly and send the items back in the same condition as received, they seem to look for reasons not to process the return.

Overall, it’s been unnecessarily difficult to deal with. The whole experience feels like another typical TikTok/Instagram brand lots of marketing, but poor quality products and weak customer support behind it.

I definitely wouldn’t order from them again.

buying from Nama is a gamble if it actually comes or not

Ordered from them a few weeks ago, paid $20 extra for 2 day shipping. It took a week to get here. Ordered three items two came. However, one of the items was shipped separately from another country (sketchy). Said it would take two weeks to get here. Emailed them and they refunded me the shipping. The third item was shipped via Canada post I live in the United States. Vague and minimal shipping details. Said it was delivered with no confirmation. I live in a doorman building and all packages are scanned in and kept behind the desk until retrieval by the corresponding tenant. My front desk said nothing was scanned in. Nothing in the mailbox. Emailed them with no response. Very shady business practices. It is very sad because the products they have are actually nice. I really liked the items I gotten the first half of my order that actually came... However, activewear that cost hundreds of dollars for a set should be backed by customer service and fast+guaranteed fulfillment. Unfortunately, they have none of the fore mentioned. It seems I am not the only one with this experience, so do your research before you buy from them. It’s also a red flag that they delete comments on their social media about not receiving orders, and the only people who are promoting them are influencers.

Do NOT order from Nama

Do NOT order from Nama. They snuck in an UNDISCLOSED $9.50 “shipping cost” a couple days AFTER the purchase. Only way I caught it was I went to my bank statement. That’s ludicrous and I have NEVER had a post purchase “shipping charge” added, let alone it being almost $10 for a pair of leggings. BUYER BEWARE!!!

They’re unable to manage a large volume…

They’re unable to manage a large volume of orders and emails via customer service. I placed an order during Black Friday (November) and didn’t receive my order until around (early week of January). I asked to exchange 1 item for a larger size in January. It’s now end of February. They said that their next shipment would arrive mid January and would be able to ship a larger size to me. They haven’t responded to my emails when I followed up. Nothing. Feels like a scam to me. The clothes are trendy but sizing is too small and I’ve been slim my whole life maintaining around the same weight. It’s like their brand team wants everyone to be anorexic.

I recommend buying elsewhere. These are WAYYY TOOO LOOOONGG of wait times. I could move houses/apartments. Your operations are TERRIBLE. Hire more staff if your business can’t handle this volume. Shame.

High Quality Product

Shipping was very fast. I was a little skeptical at first before ordering. Having never heard of Nama before, I thought it may be an online scam but took a chance because the outfit was gorgeous. Arrived very quickly and extremely high-quality with an excellent fit. Far exceeded my expectations. Immediately bought the matching jacket and crop top after trying on my original order.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service! I placed a $400+ order and paid for expedited UPS 2 day air shipping. They sent it out via USPS snail mail and now it won’t arrive in time for what I need it for, cool! They also don’t respond to emails, so I’m nervous in advance about how the refund process will go. 🙃 I definitely should’ve just gone with the NIKESKIMS pieces cause NAMA is proving to not rise to my standard.

Will never buy anything from them again.

Placed an order on February 20th and today is March 3rd. My order still has not shipped and there has been no follow up email communicating any issues, just silence. The handling time in their email said 3-5 business days and it's well past that. I left them a comment on social media and told them they need to cancel my order. That was this morning and I still have not gotten an order cancellation email or a response to the email I sent them, despite someone responding to my comment saying theyll look into it right away. All I bought was one pair of pants, theres no reason why it should take this long to ship that. And their clothes are not cheap, for the prices theyre asking for they have no sense of urgency whatsoever.

I love this brand

I love this brand. Got a pair of the contour butter leggings in black and then in white. I recently made an order that I sadly decided to cancel. Carrie was so swift and prompt with helping me out. I got my refund. I am definitely a loyal customer to this brand. Yes shipping might take longer but then do factor that before buying during sales such as black friday. This is not zara or a highstreet fashion brand. The quality is so good, I have washed my leggings weekly and they are like new.

Not worth the hassle

It seems they are unable to handle high volume orders (such as Black Friday/cyber Monday). Took nearly a month to ship some items. Unresponsive via email, DM, and WhatsApp. They try to save face and maintain a positive image, despite their lack of customer service, by deleting negative comments on their Instagram of people asking where their orders are, asking for a response to their emails and dms, asking for a refund, etc. I gave two stars because the few items I received were good quality, although they were all made in China. The price point that they sell these items are extremely overpriced for them to be made in China. I wouldn’t recommend this company or order from them again. They’ve missed many opportunities to make things right with their customers by simply being transparent, instead of giving a deafening silence to customers, a fleeting story post of an apology (many don’t click on Instagram stories—this should have been a post instead and an email), and deleting social media posts to make things appear normal and okay. Very shady.

False Representation of Items!

I hate to give them 1 star because the item is soft, quality and fits me as described (nama onesie). BUT the sleeves are nothing like the picture! The unique sleeves are why I bought this and not something else. It ruins the silhouette and looks like everything else I see on the market. Not at all worth the money. A business only deserves 1 star when they are false advertising!
