Hi Gray, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review on Trustpilot.

Whenever we advertise a Superdraw prior to the previous draw having taken place, this is due to the fact that the Superdraw is a pre-planned special event, and the jackpot will be the advertised amount regardless of whether the draw beforehand is won or not.

New System is a Disaster

I have run a Syndicate for over 15 years; there are 20 of us. I used to email the members every time we won £30 or more. Now I dont waste my time or my members time emailing to say we have won £1. I am seriously considering saying I am not prepared to do it anymore together with the reasons why. We dont stand a chance of ever winning £30 let alone the Jackpot.
The new system is a complete disaster and a con.

Hi Andrea, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review on Trustpilot.

Since the changes were introduced in June, every £2 Lotto line now gives players two chances to win in the same draw, with the same numbers automatically entered into both rounds. This means you have the opportunity to win a prize in both rounds from a single line.

So far, we have made 90 millionaires through Lotto since the changes were implemented.

Noway to buy tickets. Bet they won’t have any responsibility if I win on Powerball, Euromillions or Euromillions Hotpicks of I ‘win’ during this maintenance. Still take money though.

Complete and utter waste of space. Will be closing my account after withdrawing the £500 balance.

Hi Vaughan, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review on Trustpilot.

Our website, app and in-store terminals are back online, so you can now get your tickets for tonight’s Set For Life draw and tomorrow morning’s Powerball draw, with an estimated £418m jackpot up for grabs. We’re sorry to those of you who weren’t able to play earlier today and thank you again for your patience.

Who said you can't fool all the people all of the time!! Just seen their reply, I'm now convinced they are the government.

Hi Ray, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review on Trustpilot.

Once you’ve bought a ticket, any prize or prizes won would be classed as a win. Plus, you now have the chance to win more than once in a single draw, which would cover your ticket price. We have also adjusted some of our player comms to account for this change.

New company that has taken over lotto taking us for mugs

End of the month and 110 pound played on lotto/set for life/thunderball across October and only 6 pound back ... I can honestly say since this new company took over its not been worth it at all regardless of their marketing of we creating more millionnaires etc...I am giving up now tbh because even with my work syndicate we don't win nothing anyways.. Government either in on this new company scheme or they need to investigate this new company I do hope people stop playing or reduce the amount they play as I will be doing this now by half so it can hit their pockets.. National lottery is not for the nation anymore.. It's for the shareholders and their profits.. Just check yesterday no jackpot winner but 3 millionaires which we was seeing anyway on the old format.. That me done with playing regularly until I see this company out..

You pay to someone just one from millions people

Don’t expect from national lottery a win . Long years they just grabbed your money and you expect a free lucky dip ticket if y was a winner haha. Nothing else. So basically nothing is changing. You may expect just a fun on instant win playing online. If you play lowest money ones . There be a pound or 6 pound instant wins. But in playing time you will loose them fast as well. Just remember you will never win a gambling games , you pay to someone to one of millions from millions people

Cynical

I am very very disappointed in the recent changes. I find them very cynical. Lottery used to be a chance to get some financial ease. Okay, the chances of a million or millions were small but getting the prize for 4 or 5 right was already a little joy. £50 for 4 numbers right? Bit of joke. I hate this superrich craze. Nobody needs 400millions or more! 400 people could have a decent change of life with this money. I have played for years but consider quitting now. I am pretty sure those changes generate more earning for the company? And then we are subjected with this advertising campaign as if this is a great chance for the players. I find it cynical!
I received a reply saying that apparently now players have a higher chance of winning "a prize". I wonder if they mean these £1 prizes I have now received a few times. One ticket costs £2. I wouldn't call £1 a great win. So I am sorry- I still think the changes are cynical. Nico from National Lottery
gave me yet another sales pitch where I raised a serious objection regarding fairness!

Hi, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review on Trustpilot.

The change significantly improves chances of winning a prize. A regular player, assuming average luck and playing 104 draws a year, is expected to win more over the year under the new format because of the increased opportunities to win and the chance to win more than once in a single draw.

Hi Norman, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review on Trustpilot.

This is because our terms and conditions require players to be physically located in the UK or the Isle of Man to play. If you're using a VPN, it may show your location as being outside these areas, which can prevent access to your account.

To avoid this issue in the future, we'd recommend disabling any active VPNs before visiting our site.

Apologies for any inconvenience. ^Luna

A sad experience…

The instant wins games are now a joke….played a £10 a go game twice…of course i didnt win! I accept the gamble….but when the top prize is £2m all of the other prizes start from £2k downwards! so even if you do win…its your money back or a small ‘win’
They have reduced the tier prizes on everything - the lotto and EuroMillions are a pale shadow of a once decent game as well.
When will Allwyn read the feedback and go back to giving what player's want!
The National Lottery is a national joke…and the regulators are allowing this dumbing down of returns to players who just want to win a decent amount for 3 numbers on the Lotto…its not difficult to do this…but they wont!

Hi Gary, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review on Trustpilot.

The EuroMillions is a Jackpot based game and some of our players prefer to play for higher Jackpots. This does however mean that the lower tier prizes are lower than some of our other games like Lotto or Thunderball.

You can take a look at all of the games and prize tiers we have to offer here: https://www.national-lottery.co.uk/games

These idiots suspended my online…

These idiots suspended my online account for no reason. Tried many times to contact their customer service but after waiting for over half an hour at a time I gave up. They don't answer your call so you cannot resolve the issue.
I am now contacting the gambling commission to make a formal complaint as I guess that they will answer my call

I’ve just deleted my account

I’ve just deleted my account. I doubt Allwyn cares as there are many more suckers out there.
Back in the Camelot days it was possible to occasionally win a small amount on the instant games, just enough to keep you paying. Allwyn aren’t even that bright. I was putting £20 a week on instant games but dropped it to £10 when I stopped even winning my stake back. Now, after weeks of nothing, I’ve deleted my account. There is no way the odds are true. It’s a scam.

Hello Adrian. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review on Trustpilot.

With our Instant Win Games, there is an infinite number of prizes in the pool. For example, if the odds state 1 in 2.81, then this will be a 1 in 2.81 chance of winning every time you play. The odds of the game reset after every game played.

Underpaying winners.

I won £54 on lotto yesterday (Saturday the 24th of October 2026)but was only paid £26,this is the second time I've been unpaid and been cheated out of my winnings. The first time it happened was on the 26th of August 2026, I won £24, but was only paid £7, £45 is now outstanding, until this is resolved and paid I won't be buying anymore tickets. I've contacted the national lottery complaints line and was ignored , the first time they could call it a system glitch, the second time it's a pattern, everything is screenshotted and documented, if nothing is done I will be submitting my evidence to the gambling commission, for breaching your license. Once the gambling commissions sees this is a repeating pattern they will take this complaint very seriously. Soon after I made this trust pilot review my unaccounted winning tickets started disappearing from the lottery app. If the national lottery is trying to cover up evidence, I've already screenshotted the evidence before I posted this review. You can delete records stored on the lottery app, but you can't delete screen shots that are saved on my phone.

My app shows I won atleast £52/£54 for yesterday's draw (Saturday the 24th of October 2026) explain why my winnings have been slashed in half to £26, because this is unacceptable.

After the lottery got caught underpaying, they deleted half of my ticket entries of winning tickets, to cover up their fraud, but what you can't cover up is e-mail confirmations of tickets purchased, payment records, screenshots of everything I won, every ticket that was purchased legally, if this isn't resolved in ten working days I will be escalating to CEDR and the gambling commission.
I have a strong case with undeniable evidence, and they will rule in my favor once they see photographic proof of what I won versus what I was actually paid.

I have saved all the ticket ids, purchased dates and amounts.
Before you started deleting ticket entries from my account.
