Good products, but concerning return policy in Canada
We have purchased several Naturepedic products over the years, including a mattress, mattress protectors, and a pillow. The quality has consistently been very good.
However, we recently attempted to return an unopened mattress cover (still in its original packaging) and were informed that in order to receive a refund, we would need to cut a hole in it, provide photographic proof, and discard it rather than send it back.
We were uncomfortable destroying a brand-new organic product and chose to donate it locally instead.
What makes this more confusing is that Naturepedic operates physical retail locations in Canada, yet no option was provided to return the unopened item to a store.
While I understand companies have return policies for logistical reasons, requiring customers to destroy unused products feels inconsistent with the brand’s environmental positioning. Greater transparency on the Canadian return process would allow customers to make more informed purchasing decisions.
