Unreliable! We had booked a stay with Natuurhuisje to celebrate a New Year's Eve with a group of friends - I got a booking confirmation and paid the amount in full more than a month prior to the stay. ONE DAY before our departure, I had to learn that our booking was cancelled, and that only after I had contacted a landlord to ask for some details. Natuurhuisje initially claimed that it can't be right since we had it confirmed and paid... After a couple of hours, Natuurhuisje confirmed that the booking was indeed cancelled by mistake and offered some alternatives that were certainly not matching the one we had booked. If being left without accommodation a day before departure during a busy holiday period wasn't enough, we also need to be chasing the landlord to get our money back that was successfully collected for the service that wasn't planned to be provided. Granted, the apologies were offered, but that certainly didn't make up for the ruined holidays and the aftermath we need to deal with to get our money back... The concept is nice, but the unreliability of the service is too much of a risk to take when you are after a relaxing holiday...

In the first place we find it very unfortunate that your booking was cancelled at the last moment by the landlord. We had hoped that we could offer you a good alternative, but the alternatives we have offered you unfortunately did not meet your wishes.
Meanwhile we have ensured that you have the full amount refunded, of course this does not take away the disappointment of the missed holiday, we understand.
But again our sincere apologies that this is the way it went. Hopefully we may welcome you back on our website in the future.
