Disappointment
I had a very disappointing experience with Nazli Ceren's custom dress service.
I was told that the ready-to-wear version would not fit me and that I needed a custom-made dress for nearly twice the price. However, during my first fitting, the dress was far too large. I was told it was because I had lost weight, which was not the case. I was then asked to try a ready-to-wear Medium size, and it fit me well, despite being told months earlier that ready-to-wear was not an option. Unfortunately, I was informed that it was only a display sample and could not be sold.
Despite multiple fittings and last-minute alterations, the dress never fit properly. I had to take it with me because I was returning to Germany. Once home, I discovered visible issues with the fit, and the neckline was so tight that it caused irritation within minutes.
As a result, I was unable to wear the dress at my civil wedding and had to buy another outfit at the last minute, creating additional expense and unnecessary stress during an already busy time.
When I contacted the company afterward, I felt my concerns were dismissed rather than taken seriously.
Paying a premium for a custom-made dress, only to end up unable to wear it on such an important day, was extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend their custom tailoring service.
