We were met by catherine when we went in and she immediately directed us to where we needed to be. We found a table we liked and she went through the different options and colours. No pressure like some other shops. We went back later and bought it and she walked through all the steps so we knew exactly what would happen with delivery etc. nice shopping experience

We unfortunately spent time to visit the store in Metrocentre
We visited the store in Metrocentre, Gateshead yesterday around 7:30pm.
When we walked in, there was a lady sitting on the display furniture with shoes on, apparently the only member of staff in the store, just looking at her phone. She didn’t come over to greet us or offer any help. Instead, she just waved her hand and carried on using her phone.
From a customer service and sales point of view, this was really poor. Ignoring customers as they walk in is not a sales technique I’ve ever come across, and I honestly don’t understand how it’s meant to work.
When you’re surrounded by so many brands selling similar products, customer service is what makes the difference. Staff should be welcoming, attentive, and making an effort to engage, not sitting on display furniture on their phone.
Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and not what we would expect from a retail store. We won’t be returning.
