While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Money disappeared

I use NEAR Intents for cross-chain treasury movements for a registered Dutch company. On 7 August I made four deposits from a self-custody wallet: SOL, USDT on BNB Chain, BNB, and USDC on Ethereum. Only the SOL credited. The other three confirmed on-chain and the funds are visibly sitting on the deposit addresses NEAR Intents generated, but they have never appeared in the account balance.

Separately, the SOL that did credit cannot be swapped. Every pair, every size, both 0.1% and 0.5% slippage, returns a quote failure. So the account is effectively frozen in both directions.

Support was responsive on day one, tried to push the deposits through manually, confirmed they were stuck, and escalated to the technical team. Since then: nothing. Six days, one unanswered follow-up, no status, no timeline, no ticket owner.

To be fair to the support agent, he did what he could with the tools he had. The problem is what happens after escalation — the case goes into a black box with no visibility and no SLA. For a service handling institutional-size stablecoin flows, that is the part that needs fixing. Transaction hashes available on request.

I will update this review if and when the funds are released.

Funds Frozen Indefinitely – Avoid This “Non-Custodial” Protocol

I deposited 10 BTC (~$600,000) into a NEAR Intents-generated deposit address for a simple cross-chain swap. The transaction confirmed on-chain (TX: b4ed6ec13764dacbb3fe7d7e637cd05aaf09764edaba520984d2c8b376535a59), funds are still sitting there unmoved weeks later — but ZERO credit to my NEAR account (pinkpather.near).
Their response? “Mandatory compliance review” with no timeline, no clear explanation, and a ban in their Telegram group for asking questions. They directed me to send “source of funds” proof to legal at polarexpress.dev — an email with zero public presence or legitimacy.
This is NOT non-custodial or decentralized. They control the onboarding flow and can hold your assets indefinitely without court order or transparency.
NEAR Intents markets itself as user-sovereign and secure — but in practice, your funds can be trapped in their black box forever.
Warning to everyone: Do NOT trust this protocol with large amounts. Test with small sums first. Your money is not safe here.
Stay away until they fix their opaque compliance process or prove they won’t arbitrarily freeze user funds.
