Awful quality, no customer service
The quality of these collectible toys is absolutely awful. Paint chipping and peeling out of the box, broken pieces in the new unopened box. Stiff joints that break the figures by moving, loose joints that require modifying the figure to work properly. Everything they sell is available on Chinese marketplaces for cheaper. They frequently do preorders over 90 days ahead of time to circumvent any payment protection.

I ordered a collectible from this company on September 6th and received a damaged item on October 7th--it was wet and the box had been crushed in. I immediately contacted NECA customer service and was surprised that they were quick to send a pre-paid label and apology along with the promise I would receive either 1.) an exchange if the item was still in-stock or 2.) a refund if it wasn't available. I waited for several weeks after they received the returned item, and I slowly watched the item sell out completely. The entire time customer service assured me their "warehouse" was working on it. Here we are almost two MONTHS later and I'm STILL waiting on a refund. I've tried contacting them and they ignore all communication. I finally had to dispute the charge on my credit card which I'm STILL fighting. I've been a NECA customer for years, but I'll never buy another item of theirs. I even plan on selling what I have. Why support a company that doesn't care about their customers?
Missing items and had to fight to get them.
Only sent one of two items I ordered.
I contacted them and they replied with a canned response that "the ordered had been fulfilled."
It took five further emails and a little over a month to finally have the rest of my ordered shipped.
The entire time they fought me on sending me anything. Saying "they have records it was sent and they rarely have warehouse mix ups." Then that this was an "atypical situation and they have no proof in my claims."
Like holy crap, they instantly assumed I was in the wrong and that they are under no obligation to correct the mistake.
I will never buy directly from Neca again.
NECA customer service is extremely BAD!
Difficult to understand how a company like NECA can put so much effort into quality figured and products, and yet able to provide the worst customer service possible. If they ever go out of business, it will be a direct line to this department. I ordered a Freddy Kruger and a Beetlejuice figure on Oct. 12 and it is now nearly Thanksgiving day and after 10 emails only got one response, "order is shipping soon" back on Nov. 10. Still has not arrived and no response. NECA is better off not claiming they have a customer service than to have this group. Customers can accept delays or back orders or any other realistic response but ignoring Customers is creating negativity with its own fan base and will only lead to customers abandoning this brand. Maybe try providing a phone number for customer service because obviously no one is responding to the email provided on NECA website. If I ever get my order or a refund, I am done with this joke of a company.
I preordered a Toony Terror set in July…
I preordered a Toony Terror set in July and they just kept pushing the delivery date out until it finally arrived 4 months later. And when the four items were finally delivered, 3 of them looked like they had been intentionally damaged before shipping (tops of all of packages were creased in half), and the fourth item was not the item I ordered. I reached out to their customer service to return the order, and they have yet to even reply. Worst company and customer service ever…do not waste your time or money on this store.

NECA's customer service leaves much to be desired, revealing a lack of regard for individual customer experience. The constant uncertainty surrounding my order delivery and if it ever gets delivered, coupled with generic and dismissive email responses, highlights their negligence and poor communication practices. Rather than addressing specific issues, the company seems content with providing impersonal and unhelpful replies, leaving me feeling unheard and undervalued as a customer. This experience with NECA is not only frustrating but also reflects a concerning disregard for customer satisfaction and quality service.

The email sent to me mentioned no restrictions to the offer and had no T's and C's same for the website.
Requested a refund as I only ordered 2 complete sets based on the free shipping.
Took them 2 days to send me a refund that was short about £12.

This company are disgusting. I ordered a T-shirt from them five months ago and the first time I messaged they lied and said it was ready to be shipped.
I’ve messaged over and over asking them for the T-shirt or my money back and they simply ignore it. DONT BUY FROM THEM.

Appalling service. Ordered an item listed as in stock in September for a birthday gift, now it's November and it still hasn't dispatched. Emailed them and all I get is an automated response. Terrible.

Edit: It arrived today on October 30 outta nowhere. I will still leave 1 start cause they gave no updates. On the website it still says unfullfilled and they sent no emails.
I ordered A Nightmare on Elm Street part 2 on August 27 2024. It's October 26 still hasn't shipped and no updates from them. I'll never order anything from the Neca website again. Luckily I found a part 3 from BBTS and ik they'll actually deliver within 7-10 days like they say
I pre-ordered several items in July of…
I pre-ordered several items in July of 2024 and my credit card was charged immediately. I started seeing the items i ordered available on other websites including eBay in September I reached out to CS and was informed that the items were not yet available. Finally contacted them again on October 23 and asked for firm shipping date or wanted a refund. They credited my CC but the issue is they shouldn’t have dragged this out without providing me any updates and obviously fulfill orders to major retailers first. They lost what would have been a good customer. Never again NECA.
Scam site ... charge your credit card but don't send
Scam site, ordered the Beetlejuice baby, was supposed to ship in late September ... nothing, no update on the order either.
But they charged my credit card ... of course they did.
Do not buy from them. Avoid.
Edit - I have been reading that they have been accidentally shipping multiple orders out to customers that ordered 1 item - so for limited editions there is customers that don't receive items...then to make matters worse NECA are blaming the customers for their mistake and sending them threatening messages that if they don't send it back they will double charge them and ban them from buying items in future.

I've ordered their sdcc's predator from prey and I've received nothing yet, in august a tracking was send but the delivery adress was wrong and it was resent to NECA, after that we told me it would be ship in september but here we are, and I've nothing.

Ordered Bride Of Frankenstein with chair that was listed as in stock on their Facebook a month ago and still haven't received it. Every time I reach out to them I get automated emails that keep saying "be patient, it will be shipping soon". I sent an email 2 days ago asking to cancel and haven't heard back.

NECA strikes again
Another review to reflect that NECA does not follow through on their orders. Note, they have the no cancellations/no refunds policy for the apparent reason that they can delay orders indefinitely, for any reason whatsoever. If you reach out to customer service, either via email or telephone, you will be met with the same response as everyone here--we'll send it soon. Point out to them that they've been telling you that for a month (for supposedly in stock items) and you may be met with the response that I was met with, silence. Their customer service is a joke and their tactics are predatory. This company is ripe for a class action lawsuit.

I ordered my The Last Ronin figure in June and only got the same response from their so-called customer service "Our warehouse is currently shipping this item out and your order will be shipping soon. Please note orders will have a slight delay in shipping due to a system upgrade in our warehouse."

Scam website -- They are not shipping orders, only taking money
It has been 2 months since I placed the order. No movement on the order for two weeks after which I emailed customer support about it at the end of July. No response. Sent another email two days later, was again ignored. Sent another email a week after the first email (3 weeks since order placed) and got a response the next day that the warehouse is currently shipping the ordered item and my order will be shipped "soon". Also contained a note that there is a delay due to "system upgrade" (more like a system downgrade...)
No communication after and no shipping update either. Contacted them again towards the end of August (now at 5 weeks since order placed). Got a reply three days later, which was the exact same reply sent earlier, copy-pasted without even a thought. No update on the status, not even an apology for the delay.
I replied back with a screenshot of how their reply was a copy-paste and asked them for a timeline or an update or anything.
Since then, nothing. No reply, no communication, no updates, no movement on the order. It has now been 9 weeks since the order was placed...
At this point, necaonline.com is just a scam website taking in money from orders they seemingly do not plan to fulfill
