Overpriced. Tasteless

I stopped by to grab lunch for myself and my partner while our son is currently admitted to Evelina London Children’s Hospital. It had already been a difficult day, so I was hoping for a quick and straightforward experience.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. I was left standing at the counter while the chef stood directly in front of me on his phone. When I asked if they were taking orders, he called over to a colleague who was busy chatting with another member of staff.

When my order was finally taken, I was asked if I wanted to make it a meal deal. I asked how much the meal deal cost and was told it was written on the board above. At first glance, I couldn’t see the price, so I politely asked where it was displayed. The staff member responded rudely, saying, “Can’t you see? It says meal deal,” while pointing at the board.

Given the circumstances and how tough the day had already been, the dismissive and unhelpful attitude was really upsetting. Customer service costs nothing, and a little kindness would have gone a long way.

I ended up walking away and won’t be returning. I had been looking forward to trying the food, but after this experience — and reading similar reviews — it seems I probably saved myself the disappointment.

*Halal awareness – Ned’s Noodle Bar Milton Keynes *

We visited Ned’s Noodle Bar on 29/12/2025 assuming the food was halal due to a halal-certified sticker on the door. We were informed that the chicken dumplings have not been halal for over a year and that the beef is also not halal. Staff confirmed the same utensils are used and only washed between cooking, so there is a high chance of cross-contamination.

If you only consume halal food, please ask staff to confirm whether your order is halal and meets your standards. Sharing for awareness.

I popped in to Oxford Westgate to buy new shoes but I was disappointed as 2 shoe shops shut down. So I thought while I was there I'd get some lunch so went to Neds Noodle Bar, it cheered my day up, the noodles were delicious and more in the tub than I expected, thanks for brightening up a bad day.

Chicken was added into the whole of the vegan dishes . The entire order was order vegan dishes. Could not eat the meal finding the chicken added. Threw away the entire order. Could not trust any of the order. We have lots of photos of the vegan dish with unexpected added chicken. Disappointed Neds. Will not use again. I rang them and they Refused to accept any responsibility and said we should have specified we didn't want chicken in our vegan dishes which were listed on the menu as vegan dishes. Spoke to the staff who was rude and argued. Restaurants shouldn't offer vegan dishes if they plan to add chicken and then say it's the customers problem.

Went today with my daughter it's was absolutely fantastic flavours every little detail they had. Massive portions for a regular lol. What impressed me the most was they asked if anyone had allergies twice which was excellent customer service will spread the word and see you next week!!!! For same again

Nice atmosphere! Great food!

The food isn’t bad but the Customer Service is terrible. I ordered x1 beef noodle and x1 vegetable noodle. For some reason they managed to get that order wrong and sent x1 beef and x1 chicken. Still waiting for an acknowledgment and a refund. I will NEVER order from them again. Milton Keynes store need to get their act together!

Over priced horrible food which even after 6 pints of beer still tasted like Chinese slop tray - staff were friendly but that’s not much use as you can’t eat them.

This one is for the ladies that need delivery in the Central area: Ned`s delivery person, who apparently doesn`t know how to speak English, called me because he wasn`t able to find my address. I went downstairs to find him, watched him drop my (almost cold) food and had to endure him trying to start a conversation about "how I was celebrating Valentine`s Day". Yeah.

I ordered from here a simple order of 2 large boxes of egg noodles with soy sauce, chicken and no vegetables. I also had 2 cokes. I ordered it but it had become over two hours since I’d ordered so I called and it arrivals two and a half hours later, not only that when arrived it had all vegetables which we asked not for and different sauce. We then called and asked for refund which they said they’d drop round the next day as the driver didn’t want to come out again or re deliver the food we asked for. We waited 2 days and called HR to which they gave a 10% voucher off. Scam and pointless, wouldn’t order ever again.
