A difficult pool project
We tried to get bids from other pool contractors for a gunite pool but they never would give us a price. Morgan offered us a Latham Fiberglass pool due to our soil conditions. We have a difficult yard with expansive clay soil that needed a jack hammer for the excavation. Due to the large boulders, the excavation was little slower than normal. Also, our pool is next to a steep sloping hill in our yard and it needed a retaining wall. They did not disapoint us. The pool is wonderful. Morgan is always calm, even under the most stressful conditions. We now have a beautiful pool, retaining wall and concrete decking, and are enjoying our pool very much.

Your yard was a genuinely hard build: expansive clay that took a jackhammer to excavate, boulders that slowed the dig down, and a slope steep enough that it needed a retaining wall before a pool could go in at all. That soil is exactly why we recommended a Latham fiberglass shell instead of gunite — it was the right build for your conditions, and we would rather tell a homeowner what the ground actually calls for than hand them a quote that ignores it.
