Nerd Travel Club is a travel advisory that books hotels — the same hotels you'd book anywhere else, usually at the same price, with more included and someone still watching the rate after you've booked. When you book with us, we add preferred-partner amenities wherever the property offers them: breakfast for two, a hotel credit, a room upgrade when one's available, early check-in, and late check-out. They're confirmed in writing before you book, not "ask at the front desk and hope." And they're usually attached to rates matching what the big online travel sites quote for the same room on the same dates — rates that include none of it. Then we keep working. Hotel prices move constantly after a reservation is made, and almost nobody finds out, because once you've booked you stop looking. We don't. We monitor your reservation until check-in, and if the rate drops on a booking with free cancellation, we rebook you into the exact same room — same rate type, same inclusions — at the lower price, and email you the details. Nothing about your stay changes except the number you pay. You keep your hotel loyalty points and elite night credit on eligible stays. So what's the catch? There isn't one. No membership fees, no booking fees, no markup — you pay the hotel's own rate. Hotels pay us a commission when a stay is completed, the way they compensate any travel agency, and none of it comes out of your pocket.
