Really solid experience
Really solid experience with NerdWallet. I used it to compare credit cards and savings options, and the information was actually easy to understand without feeling overly salesy. The tools helped me narrow down what made sense for my situation, and I liked that everything was laid out clearly in one place. Definitely a helpful resource if you’re trying to make smarter financial decisions.
i wanted to just see what rates were
i wanted to just see what rates were, filled out everything, was never given any rates or options just a screen saying someone will call. this was over a month ago, i have received over 150 calls since then. im still getting up to 5 calls a day.
Nerd wallet uses seedy partners who will harass you on new numbers multiple times a day, everyday.
Nerd wallet used to be a helpful site, I remember using them when I first opened up a credit card because I found their comparisons helpful. I recently signed back into my nerdwallet account and found that they've completely sold out and instead of helping you they sell your data to seedy companies instead who will harass you non stop. I wanted to see loan offers but they forced a redirection to a website "Freedom debt relief" where that company immediately grabbed my contact information and called me within minutes of landing on that page. That same day they proceeded to call me on 4 separate phone numbers, and text me from a 5th number. Every morning since I logged onto nerd wallet they've called me first thing in the morning on a new phone number. We are at the 8th blocked number and they probably have a never ending supply to burn through, this was an advertised "partner" of nerdwallet and in the terms and conditions they are allowed to give/sell your data to their partners when you use their platform. This is like landing on a sketchy site and getting a bunch of pop ups, except this is worse because they've invaded into my personal life and wake me and my baby up every morning unless I am forced to put my phone on silent moving forward for the unforeseeable future. Nerdwallet can shove it, never again.
