Netferry total rip off and scam
We purchased the ferry ride from Palau, Sardinia to La Maddalena ahead of time as we were arriving in the evening and Netferry offered us the last ferry to La Maddalena by Maddalena Lines at 10pm, so we bought that and paid 43Euros. Once we arrived there after a long flight trying to make our way to our rented villa in La Maddalena, to our surprise their were no ferries from Maddalena Lines operating that day. We showed every member of the port including the staff from Delcomar Ferries (the only ferry operating that day) to see if we could use the tickets bought from Netferry on delcomar and they told us NO. Not to miss the last ferry to La Maddalena we ended up having to buy a new ticket through Delcomar and only paid 28Euros. Fortunatley we made the last ferry and made it to the island. I got in touch with Netferry the next day and after days of back and forth emails explaining the sitiuation they did not reimburse our ticket and told us we could have used this ticket on any other ferry company like Delcomar. I explained to them that I tried and all the Delcomar staff told us No. Even with proof of all this they did nothing and we lost 43 Euros. Also, thier is absolutley no need to buy ferry tickets in advance as they sell them there on the spot and for much cheaper (hlaf the price) than Net ferry. I will never use Netferry again.
