Dr Cooke quickly diagnosed my health issue and the remedial treatment was 100% effective. On top of this Dr Cooke listened carefully to what I had to say and was kind, supportive and thorough. He has an impressive depth of knowledge on the medical conditions he specialises in.

Thank goodness somebody recommended Jake to me regarding my BPPV.  Although I've had it for years on and off, I've managed to cope with it until February this year, when I had a massive attack in the bath and fell face first into the taps, breaking my nose and suffering 13 stitches in my face!  Now was the time to finally address it...

Two different people who performed the Epley manoeuvre on me have had no success, even though I know it's difficult when you have BPPV in both ears, so Jake is my saviour!

I have seen a lot of medical practitioners over a period of two years for cervical dizziness. None of them gave me any proper relief. Four nights in hospital, plus visits to my local GP surgery failed to produce a diagnosis for my acute vertigo, but Jake did it in just one consultation!

At the time I made my appointment to see Jake I was unable to stand or walk safely, even to carry out basic tasks around the house. I needed to be accompanied on the shortest strolls outdoors. I had no idea whether what I was doing each day would help or hinder my recovery. I was seriously in need of some help and support.

I came out of my consultation with a clear and positive view of my way forward and have made great progress since starting my plan. Just a week into my exercises I was able to go on a long-planned holiday and am now enjoying again the normal activities in my life.

I’ve been seeing Jake for about ten years now, and he is by far the best chiropractor I’ve ever been to.

Jake doesn’t just focus on the symptoms, and making them better, he looks at the cause. So not only does he offer immediate relief from the day to day discomfort’s, he also gives me ways to stop them happening by identifying why it’s happening in the first place, and providing realistic exercises (by which I mean suggesting a couple of things I will actually do as they suit my lifestyle) to sort it.

I have been experiencing persistent and debilitating dizziness since 2018. Symptoms have varied from feeling like I was permanently on a boat to random violent attacks that have left me floored. My teenage daughter had a sailing
accident leaving her with Persistent Concussion Syndrome. She experienced debilitating symptoms across a range of systems. Dr Jake’s deep expertise in this area and his interest in his patients meant he took the time to complete a comprehensive assessment of her and constructed a specialised treatment plan that included neurological rehabilitation and low level laser therapy as well as excercises we could carry out at home. Having previously been told by a number of Consultants that she would have to live with her symptoms within weeks of following Dr Jake’s treatment plan she went from being unable to stand unaided with high levels of nausea and multiple other complications to seeing a significant reduction in her symptoms. The improvement was so significant she was able to take a short trip abroad shortly after starting his plan, something that was inconceivable prior to seeing him. We are so thankful we found Dr Jake and would encourage anyone suffering from any degree of concussion to use his services.

I have suffered severe headaches and have had ct scans and a lumbar puncture. Once there was nothing sinister found, the answer was just get on with it and take paracetamol. I was referred to Jake Cooke with what I thought was Sciatica. After an assessment he explained that it was Bursitis. As part of the treatment he used the Low Level Laser Therapy which did wonders for my pain. I have received such good care every session and very good explanation of the exercises I can do to build up the muscle. I would also add that the booking of the session is very professional and it is easy to see when he is available. You will always get a reminder of the session the day before. Having suffered from BPPV and not knowing what it was, I am very happy to have found the Neuro Muscular Clinic. Jake (Chiropractor) explained what this annoying condition is, how it can be treated and the exercises that I can do to continue a normal and active life. My treatment is covered by my private insurance policy. I have had 4 sessions and already feel back to normal.
