Another European customer scammed by Neuw. They don’t have a European warehouse, it is in Australia. Their European website (it literally says: “you are currently browsing our EU site”) does not mention that useful fact. You have to look it up in a faq. I only noticed my parcel was coming from Australia when I checked the tracking info. Took them a week to send it out. Will probably take a few more weeks to reach me. Then I will have to pay import duty. Going to look for a new jeans brand that suits me, because the people running this one are jerks.

Edit: things seems to be even worse than I thought. My package has been on its way for 8 days, but I just noticed that the shipping confirmation is for one pair of jeans. I ordered two pairs, which both were in stock. So I guess they want me to pay the handling fee twice? And without even informing me why only one pair was shipped. What kind of company is this? These people should not be allowed to run a webshop.

Edit 2: worst experience ever. I ordered 28th of nov and the package has not even reached customs yet. This must be an ultra-low priority shipment. Wonder if I’ll ever receive it. The second part of my order has simply been refunded without any communication at all. That pair of jeans was the main reason for my order. They were the nicest and had the biggest discount. For those I wouldn’t have minded paying import duties. I feel scammed into buying the one pair that any other (and true European) webshop has in stock too. Stay far, far away from this shop / brand.

I purchased jeans from NEUW's EU website, which displays prices in euros and advertises FREE shipping. The checkout process gave every impression this was an EU-based retailer.

After ordering, I received an unexpected €42.21 import bill (28% of my purchase price) because the products actually ship from outside the EU. This crucial information was hidden away in their FAQ rather than disclosed during checkout.

The jeans are great quality! Better to order them at a local supplier.

Same experience as the person from Sweden above. I ordered from a shop in £GBP. It went through my order but nothing was mentioned about customs charges, just usual delivery costs. Now I have a big customs charge to pay. I would not have ordered had I known this. They should be clear about this at checkout, not hide it in FAQ's.
