Highly recommend

Tried speed dating for the first time in Bury with Juliette. I think this is much better than online. You get to really see people for who they are and then say yes or no to see again. Juliette was wonderful and timed it all well. Made some friends and a match so it was a successful night.

I have been to 2 speed dating events and meeting places are easy to get to by public transport if you don’t want to drive. They are organised in a friendly and organised way so everyone feels comfortable

Had my First experience of speed dateing and well alex is great makes you feel Welcome and explains Everything Clearly. Held in a nice pub would deffentley Recommend to anyone who is Considering in doing this just go for what have you got to loose?

Last night was my first event with this company and I really enjoyed it!
The host was nice; was fully engaged and made us all welcome. The event was also well organised and I met some great people! It was a fun evening as a result and we’ll see what happens from here…

I went to a New Connections event in January. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I had only done one speed dating event previously with another organisation which I didn’t really enjoy. This was definitely a better experience for sure! The lady hosting the event on the night was lovely and welcoming and made everyone feel at ease. Having 5 minutes with each person word well as it’s long enough to know if there’s a connection or not but not too long so it becomes awkward! The whole evening was run really well and efficiently. I was very fortunate to meet someone that night, two months on and we are establishing something amazing. If you are thinking about booking a speed dating event then don’t hesitate to book with New Connections, I can highly recommend!

Plenty of choice of venues/dates, Easy to book, friendly and a well run evening. Would recommend.

Alex is a warm and inviting host wiling to mix things up .She has first hand experience of the dateing world and has put this in to practice very well ..Keep doing what you do .

I went along to the Stamford mixer and it was a bundle of fun. Alex was a great host, she explained everything in detail. The evening itself was relaxed and entertaining. Definitely recommend.

Attended the 40-59 Masquerade singles mingles night and it was fun! Had an enjoyable night, wearing the masks added to the mystery of meeting new people and I actually got a match out of it! Thank you New connections for organising!

I’ve never done anything like speed dating - it always looked great but massively nerve wracking on films and TV. But when I saw there was an event ran by New Connections near me, I plucked up the courage to give it a go.

Our host, Tristan had a lot to manage and co-ordinate, but he was friendly and helpful. I found that once I got into it and managed to overcome my shyness, realising everyone was in the same boat, I began to feel like I was connecting with people. it was such a brilliant experience to have a small window of time to learn about people and their lives. I’ve just nicely got back into dating after being away from it for a very long time, but everyone was so lovely, and I felt like so many likeminded people were in one place and it was a joy to be part of. That I got some matches is a bonus!

The only things I could suggest to improve the event, would be to have more time for each conversation. I think, with the sheer amount of us, coming towards the end we only had a minute or two on each table. And I didn’t manage to meet everyone who had attended. But all in all, I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try something new and meet new friends/dates.

Juliette was a great host patient, professional, fun and explained everything clearly which made everyone feel at ease. The event was well organised with a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of people to meet. Loved that we got our matches the next day too. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to meet people without dating apps!

I found connectings on Facebook and sper of the moment i booked and thought I would give it a try as been single nearly 8 years .
I was so surprised. Very warm Welcome by Alex the host and Alex was really Commenting for me as I was in a wheelchair. She swapped the whole evening around what i was really appreciated of

Last night I went to speed dating at Browns in Cambridge. It was my first event and great friendly host, venue lovely with set aside space for the group. The evening went super quick, very approachable and engaging attendees with great turnout, would recommend if you feel like low pressure intro to go to one of these well run events.
