While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

New Empact Work is program management software for organizations running innovation, award, grant, and scholarship programs, including nonprofit associations, professional societies, and the association management companies (AMCs) that manage programs on their behalf. It replaces spreadsheet and email-based coordination with a single system covering the full program lifecycle, from application intake through multi-phase review to disbursement. Programs are structured around tracks, each with its own open and close dates, its own sequence of review phases (eligibility screening, scoring rounds, committee review), and its own evaluation rubric, all running independently inside one program cycle rather than requiring separate program instances. This works the same way whether you're running an innovation challenge, an awards competition, a grant cycle, or a scholarship program. Every tier includes structured multi-phase review architecture, role-based access control, program-level NDA enforcement, comprehensive audit trails, and API access, with no per-user or reviewer seat limits. Outbound webhooks and custom integration planning are available on higher tiers for connecting to existing systems. AI is used in an assistive capacity only: it drafts reviewer briefing cards and feedback language, and can anonymize applications for blind review by removing both direct identifiers and inferable signals like school or employer mentions, useful across awards judging, scholarship committee review, and grant evaluation alike. Scoring and final decisions remain entirely with human reviewers. Reviewer-facing dashboards show submission status and workload across every track in real time. Applicants and nominees get a self-serve portal showing exactly where their submission stands at each review stage. Authentication is email-based on both sides, removing account creation and password resets. Organizations reuse templates, rubrics, and forms across cycles instead of rebuilding each year, whether the program is an innovation initiative, an award, a grant, or a scholarship. AMCs can deploy the same program workflows across every client they manage, with data separation and branded portals per client.
