Incompetent and untrustworthy
I had a leak from the roof to on the top floor room. Called John Newman to have a look at it and he said the lead flashing was damaged. I allowed him to repair the damage, but instead of replacing the lead sheet, as he promised, he put some cement between the tiles and the party wall. Needless to say, soon after the leak came back, and again, instead of putting the lead flashing as it was originally, he just added more cement. Within weeks, the roof leaked again. I got hold of another roofer who repaired the damage successfully. This time he actially showed me some photos of a job well done. I don't think John Newman works in a professional way. In fact, he even lied to my face. Never again I will be needing John Newman services again. He has shown to be a liar and untrustworthy, as well as incompetent. I would give -5 stars if I could.
