NexOptics is a complete scam

Basically their advert was in the Business Post, a reputable newspaper, so my guard was down. I was a bit surprised when I was ordering, that the 3 pair of glasses was ticked. So I ticked 1 pair of glasses and continued to the end of the ordering. But when I saw the summary it showed under confirmation of the order that I had ordered 3 pairs. But getting onto Help and Support was a waste of time. Result is €139.91 bill. I've changed my Credit Card meantime but a bit late. Reading the other reviews I hold out no hope. It's just a scam. It's based in Lithuania. What I can't understand is how so many blatantly scamming adverts are allowed.

The parcel was sent back to them by Yodel without ever being delivered and without any any attempt to contact me with details of why they couldn't deliver it.

Absolutely incompetent. I have demanded a refund and since they're getting the parcel back, I hope they might honour their word.

Give a very wide berth

I bought a pair of these. They are ugly, uncomfortable and unless you keep your eyes perfectly still they are pointless. And they do not refund you when they are returned. I had to go through PayPal to get a return address, they just kept offering me either a £4, £6 refund to keep them. Still trying to get a full refund and I know they have received the glasses because I had it tracked.

I ordered following a Youtube advert…

I ordered following a Youtube advert early December. It had not arrived by January 20th. Nexoptrics customer services gave me a tracking number which search resulted in did not exist. Then customer services in further email said it had been delivered, but "click this link:" which I did not do in case it was corrupt.
Now I see many reports suggesting a scam.
Reporting to Youtube. Can I get my money back? I paid £84.

Edit: I persisted in my complaint. I informed Youtube again, but still got no reply from YouTube.
Then Nexoptics email stated my glasses had been delivered by UK courier Yodel on 23.12.24, that was not the case. Nexoptrics sent me a tracking link, I put into a search engine, it purported to be Yodel stating delivery on 23.12.24 at 04:48 in the morning! No it did not happen. I reported to Yodel. I forwarded to Yodel a spoofed email purporting to be from Yodel, looking genuine, so they could track the source code of the email.Yodel security is investigating. I asked Nexoptrics for photographic proof of delivery, as UK couriers including Yodel as standard make photographic evidence of delivery. Nexoptrics did not supply the evidence. The email Nexoptrics sent me which arrived 27.01.24 disappeared after I checked the tracking. When I returned to it it had gone. There is such a phenomenon as self destructing emails. This must have been an example of this.
I checked my payment through Paypal. I discovered payment went to "Shopperoc By With Reach LLC" and my order for a single pair of glasses was doubled to an extra pair of glasses, two debits from my account.
Nexoptrics, "Celina", then wrote the package must have got lost in the post, contradiction of their earlier posts to me, and they offered a replacement, which I accepted as I thought getting a refund from a US company would be very difficult.

Edit 31.01.25. Updating the experience:
My request for a refund from Shopperoc, which took the payment on behalf of Nexoptrics has been granted and received today.

Ordered 3 pairs for $129.99 Canadian

Ordered 3 pairs for $129.99 Canadian. After 3 weeks finally delivered. Opened first box and absolutely so disappointed. Cheap plastic, 50 cent piece of garbage. Cannot focus and pinches side of head. I immediately packaged it up and want a refund. I emailed them with all the info. They wanted to give me 40% off. I said no.. you advertise 30 days refund and a high quality lens, not true. I had to send them a picture. DO NOT BUY this is the worst purchase I ever made and I better get my money back. Later... I was offered 60% of my refund and keep all 3 so called glasses OR send it all to an address in California and I pay for shipping and they will refund me. I took the 60% odds be I would not get any $$ back so I end up with 3 pieces of cheap plastic that I threw in the garbage, that scam cost me $52.00 If you look at the packaging they go from Malaysia to China to Burnaby B.C. Canada. But refunds in California. Numerous companies are attached to this scam. Buyer Beware total false advertising 100%

After seeing the AD from YouTube I have…

After seeing the AD from YouTube I have ordered one pair of eye glasses for US$29 today 01/09/25 at 10:51AM after that I looked at my PayPal account the charges was $100.92, I called back Nexoptrics right away several times because nobody answered, I kept calling until a lady name Celina responding my call, I requested her helping me to cancel this order because the triple charges on my credit card, also this is a order just happened minutes ago, she told me she had to call the warehouse and asking me waiting for her email, at 11:42AM the same day, she emailed me the item had left from the warehouse, and the order could not be cancelled. I should look the reviews first from Trustpilot before putting in order, Trustpilot reviews had been helping me to avoid to buy merchandises from scam companies in the past years, but on this time, I trust Big Ads on YouTube on my TV , it is too late for me in this time. My wife and me feel very bad and sick on this purchase, because we are over 70 years old, and hate people tricking to the seniors people. Hope my story reviews can alert some buyers. Regards, Su

Complete sham. Like others thought I had ordered one pair, but it turned out to be 2. Price went from £29.99 to £75.99. Contacted PayPal but they were unable to help.

Be cautious of those “too good to be true” ads on YouTube—they’re often scams. This doesn’t just apply to reading glasses; in my opinion, around 50% of YouTube ads are from scammers. These people exploit the fact that over 70% of viewers don’t check reviews and instead rush to purchase products that seem like great deals.

Don’t fall for the cheap prices. Always verify the company on Trustpilot or Google Reviews before buying. Protect your hard-earned money and stop supporting these scammers.

Steer clear

Steer clear
When the payment went through I knew this wasn't a legit company. 100% of the time you will receive an acknowledgement of payment and some advice regarding delivery. none of that happened and i know from past experience to beware when that happens. A quick background check of the company and it turns out its just one of those outfits who change their name every few months to sell products. This is the third company like this I've come by via YouTube ads. You would think YouTube would verify their advertisers, but they don't. So beware of YT ads.
And furthermore these glasses can be bought from other suppliers for half the price. And finally, using these glasses will weaken your eyes even more. Their akin to wearing magnifying glasses which on the surface will seem good, but ultimately faster deterioration of your eyesight will occur much faster and you will need stronger and stronger lenses.

Watch out for this company.

These glasses are built as cheaply as humanly possible. I found them hard to focus and when they did focus, if you looked left or right even slightly my vision was blurred. These people should be held accountable for ripping people off. I would sign a class action suit against them if any lawyer reads this. I am tired of being screwed by these scammers.

NexoPtrics is a complete scam

NexoPtrics is a complete scam, unfortunately I fell for there BS of £39 before it turned into over £150.
I wish I had reviewed them on Trust pilot before I made the purchase. They have taken two payments from my Bank and I have had to freeze my debit card this near to Christmas so that they cant screw me for any more. After reading other peoples reviews I now understand what A Hols NexoPtrics are. It sure is going to be a cold Christmas for this OAP.

Do not waste your money

The product is dreadful. Nasty cheap frames and lenses. They do adjust but it is impossible to get any clear vision through the lenses. Complete waste of money, I purchased 1 x pair but got charged for and received 2 pairs. No reply to my several emails requesting information on their returns process. No surprise there really! If it were possible to give no stars I would have. Do not touch this company with a barge pole !!!
