The Nextbase Rear-View Camera is designed with a narrower, telephoto lens, to record the view of the road directly behind your vehicle. The view recorded is similar to the image seen in your rear-view mirror. It uses a 30° telephoto lens to look back through the vehicle, capturing details of the road behind, making sure you are guarded against tailgaters and rear end impacts. The Rear-View Camera can easily be installed by clicking it into the side of your front facing Nextbase Dash Cam model. Compatible with: 322GW 422GW 522GW 622GW (Will NOT work with Piqo) Resolution When you are using a rear-view camera module the resolution of your front camera will automatically adjust to manage the two high resolution video files. The options for these settings are: 622GW Front 4K, Rear 1080p 422/522GW Front 1080p, Rear 1080p OR Front 1440p, Rear 720p 322GW Front 1080p, Rear 720p Module connectivity Connects directly to your Dash Cam and records the rear view of your journey through your car. Works well as a rear camera, got two of them with 322gw. Nice that it connects to camera no need for cable but there is that option. Less 1 star for lack of invoice after placing order, only sent one when it's dispatched. Good value with 50% discount and extra 10% for email. Cheaper at website than amazon

I had a Nextbase Duo and so went for this as a replacement to add to the 322 Dashcam. There are 2 main issues with it. Because it fits into the right side of a Nextbase dash am it is not ideal for right hand drive cars as it has to stick out from the rear view mirror on the driver’s side rather than the passenger’s. More worryingly, the connection with the dashcam is not terribly robust and so if I attempt to move the connected item it causes mine to just display a white rear picture which requires the whole unit to be reset along with reformatting the SD card. Very disappointing and makes me wish I had bought the true rear-window-mounted camera instead.

When selected the display is clear. Perhaps a split screen option would be useful. Along with the current option of a small window in the larger window. some way of controlling which camera is on the display.

Easy to attach to main body but difficult to line up to achieve a good re view. The dash cam mount also moves on bumpy roads which, due to the poor state of road surfaces, happens on most journeys

It’s posiy]Rio img on the front screen makes rear view a waste of time, I was lead to be lived the rear view camera would be situated literally on the rear screen, it’s not it’s in the front, so the most you see is the head rests and a bit of the rear seated passengers.
