While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more
To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. We recognise we may not catch everything, and you can flag anything you think we may have missed. Read more
Next Obsession is a reading app built for romance and romantasy readers who live on BookTok. We know the feeling of finishing a book and immediately needing your next obsession — but scrolling through endless recommendations that don't actually match your taste. That's the problem we set out to solve. At the heart of Next Obsession is our Reader DNA quiz, which learns your favorite tropes, spice levels, and vibes so every recommendation actually fits how you read. No more generic "if you liked this, try that" lists — just books picked for your specific taste. Beyond discovery, Next Obsession is built to be social. Track your TBR (to-be-read) shelves, see how your reading stacks up against other readers with our rankings, and share beautifully designed cards showing off what you're reading or just finished — perfect for posting straight to BookTok, Instagram, or wherever you talk books. We built Next Obsession because we're readers ourselves, and we wanted the app we always wished existed: one that understands trope obsessions, spice preferences, and the BookTok culture around romance reading, rather than treating every reader the same. Whether you're deep into dark romantasy, cozy contemporary romance, or anything in between, Next Obsession is here to help you find your next favorite book — and the readers who love it as much as you do.

I've been waiting ages for something as easy as this to show up. So nice to be able tonorganise my books and ALSO get some writing done! All in one place.
I also love that there aren't any ads that pop up! Seriously!
