They used to be one of the best

They used to be one of the best, they bought out a small business called Smallweb and since lockdown, they have lost their way. No support, no help just nothing. I wouldn't recommend them again.

Very unstable

Very unstable, only buy it if you just want a "TOY".
Server randomly shutdown, and the customer services tell you nothing, might simply "oh motherboard broken, but we are in vacation, ETA on tomorrow", after tomorrow, server still down. They just treat client like a dumb!

Stay away!

From 2016 they gave good hosting but in may 2022 they LITERALLY left the hosting.
Just for curisoity, after viewing all bad reviews, I made a ticket saying why and if nexusbytes staff is still alive.
Reply: none.
2 Days later... no reply.
Since I have a business website + a VPS, soon I'm changing the hosting because I'm scared about auto renew and stuff like this since my card isn't a prepaid one and do a refund contacting the bank is not as easy as with a prepaid card.
I don't know why they did this.

But please, S T AY A W A Y!

Be carefull with this provider

Be carefull with this provider, the offer a daily backup for your server but, they dont do it, just charge you

No Refund for their missbehaivor even when i was on the 48 hrs to give to claim for it, they make me buy an other server to get the backup restore to that new server but there was no backup , they just charge me every time for the service but never did the automaticly backup

About performance is stable, i wont lie, support response time to general inquerys good, but they cant answer how much aditional storage you can attach to their vps, so i will say good performance, bad support.

could take up to 3 days to get a disk extenden.
could take up to 3 days to get a license active
could take up to 24hrs and 2 support tickets to get a new server

Amazing service!

Amazing service especially when you consider the price. I hope they continue the great work. The support is very responsive and any issues are fixed quickly.

Great service for a low price

Joined them because of the very low price on email hosting and I do have to say that it is definitely worth the money, haven't had any downtime, deliverability is perfect, dashboard (DA) works good, overall a solid 10/10 to be honest

Excellent Services

To be honest Nexusbtytes LLC has been offering services that people from all walks of life can afford. Not only that, the services are excellent, I did compare with others and found the services outstanding.

Thanks Nexusbtytes for according me an opportunity to be part of this development over the years now. For me I say keep it up.

Usually you can only pick two, but with NexusBytes you have everything!!!

I've been a customer (2x VPS) for a few months and referred the service to some friends as well.

efficient but be aware in negotiation ;)

I asked not to send me any more affiliate emails, it was due to a mistake, people make mistakes, unfortunately stopped sending me all emails, including payment emails. Now the server is deleted because I didn't have the time to log into the account every year. unfortunately my backups do not take place every day. I don't care about guilt now, because Jay is a top admin, his servers are really efficient, we know that. Only in stressful situations, everyone reaches their limits.

very confusing situation for all of us, especially freedom-loving people are particularly stressed at this time -.-

Sorry for being greedy when it came to negotiating compensation. you no longer have to restore my old account the way I last wished. maybe you can move the old credits to smallweb, it would be a shame if they go up in the air, but you don't have to either. you have already said that during the negotiation what you think about me. I never wanted to cause you a bad mood.

Hello and thank you for sharing your experience.

We appreciate the fact that you were a Nexus Bytes Family member for 2 years. Really saddened to see that you chose to leave us negative feedback for something, that really wasn't due to our fault but as an end user, you not living up to your end of the bargain by paying your service fee. I do apologies for the communication error that has taken place between both parties and here’s a detail explanation of what took place.

As Jay have communicated with you personally. Your account was closed out due to non-payment. We have made attempt to communicate you via email regarding the service payment, however, you requested not to be contacted and thus, our emails were refused by your email client. We have shared direct links to view each of your tickets, which were responded in under 5 minutes, that you never responded back to :(

As you are aware, an invoice is generated ~15 days before the renewal date. Once the account is past due, we offer a 3 days grace period for no additional fees. Once the account is overdue for over 3 days, unpaid service is then suspended for another 4 days. Which is usually ample time for someone to notice, hey, my service is down, let's check with the provider to see what happened. At the end of the 4th day (Total 7 days from the time, service is due), we terminate the service and at that point, if a client doesn't have any additional active services with us, we archive their account to prevent any mishaps. You reached out to us on the 11th day. Which is the literal definition of "too late".

Since this is a prepaid service, service needs to be paid upfront and not after. It is the responsibility of the end user, to pay their bills on time, just as much as it is our duty and responsibility to ensure that a paid service is online for the period it was paid for. Should someone require extra time to pay their invoice, as long as it is previously communicated

Jay (seriesn) reached out to you personally to assist you in this regard, despite this being an issue due to end user error. However, you have started to make demand for things, that were neither logical nor viable, such as life time service or offer you services, that are even below our internal cost. As a for profit business, we rely on recurring revenue to offer quality service, pay our bills and pay our team members. Despite trying to explain this to you multiple time, you chose to pesture and pressure us to offer you something, that is unreasonable and on the borderline of blackmailing by taking advantage of Jays kind nature.

It is really unfortunate that, you didn't feel the need to share your positive 2 years of experience, while your service was still active with us, however, you did choose to share a fabricated story when your service was canceled due to non-payment. In this business, we treat all our family members as partners as partnership is based on mutual benefit and respect. Judging by your communication with Jay alongside this review, it is very clear that you do not value unfortunately we are not willing to continue our partnership with someone who doesn't value ours.
