What this did for me
The person I spoke to was approachable and empathetic to my situation. She was realistic also, explained the process. It made me realise one thing only... I have to change my approach if I want to see my children again.
It made me realise that when you are entering mediation, you are really entering in what is probably the first phase of court if it doesn't work out.
So you really got to think mediation is how you would want to appear if you were in court.
No bones about it
Its not about what happened, what you did, what they did, its about how to resolve the situation to prevent you going to court... but in reality, if you are at mediation you are just one step on that road.

I recently attended a MIAM session and…
I recently attended a MIAM session and had a really positive experience. The process was explained clearly, and I felt listened to and supported throughout.
The mediator was professional, calm, and exactly what I expected from a neutral service. They took the time to explain what mediation is (and isn’t), which really helped manage expectations.
I would definitely recommend this service to anyone considering mediation. It felt like a safe and structured way to start working through things properly.

I’ve recently started the mediation…
I’ve recently started the mediation process with NFM. Although I didn’t personally choose them, I felt quite reassured after the first meeting. Everything was explained clearly, and the mediator came across as approachable and understanding, which made things feel a bit easier.
I do still have another session to attend, so it’s early days, but so far my experience has been a positive one.

I must commend this mediation service…
I must commend this mediation service for its efficiency and expertise. I was able to secure an appointment within three days of contacting them. I highly recommend their services as they are not only prompt but also demonstrated a thorough understanding of the situation and applied their intelligence effectively which a lot of mediation services out their lack. Took the stress out of a daunting experience
As a very daunting experience, the representative from NFM was absolutely lovely. Clear and timely explanation of the process, allowed me to explain the situation from my perspective, and absolutely did not rush any decisions or aspects. Gave clear, comprehensive advice on the next steps and how best to proceed, covering all available options.

I found the entire process very user-friendly. Everything was dealt with speedily & efficiently. As I have never been in this situation before I wasn't sure what to expect but everyone I interacted with, including my mediator, was sympathetic and explained the process clearly.
