I’m currently taking an eyelash extension course, and one of the best things about this school is that it’s completely online, allowing me to study at my own pace. Whenever I submit a test, I receive feedback within 24 hours, with detailed comments on what I did well and what I can improve.

Through the student website, I can watch video demonstrations for each assignment, learn from the instructor’s examples, and then work through the tasks on my own. It’s a very self-directed learning style, which I really enjoy.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone who prefers to study independently, without pressure or being influenced by others, and who wants to focus quietly on their own progress.

I also enrolled in the course with the starter kit included, and it has been extremely helpful as I plan to grow my beauty business in the future.

Super encouraging, fun and flexible course
Doing my certifications through the national institute of beauty has been such a great decision. They explain the process of each nail enhancement comprehensively and the staff are always reliable and timely when I have had any questions or queries. I especially love the flexibility of the course and the possibilities to learn many different types of techniques. I’ve been doing the course for over a year now and I’m still only halfway through, but having no set deadlines means there’s no pressure or stress. I can work through each module when I have the time, which keeps it enjoyable and allows me to take my time and do my best!

I began my hairdressing course while I was on a long overseas holiday, using my spare time away from home to finally learn a skill I had always wanted. The course took me around two years to nearly complete, as I balanced my studies with being a mother of three teenagers and managing freelance work in the film and media industry.

Communication with the college instructors has been excellent—always easy, supportive, and very prompt. The educational videos are well structured and easy to follow, while still allowing room to express your own creativity within the course guidelines if you are passionate about the craft.
I have only a few topics left to complete to be officially qualified, and I already feel confident working alongside other hairdressers in a salon environment. I’m really looking forward to finishing the course, taking on more clients, and officially beginning the next chapter of my hairdressing journey.
