Poor Quality Product & Customer Service

We installed a NIBE S735 heat pump in our holiday let in October 2024, only for it to completely fail within 16 months. After months of poor performance and repeated concerns, NIBE engineers eventually discovered the system contained just 80g of refrigerant instead of the expected 420g. No leaks were found, indicating a likely defect present from manufacture.

The fault resulted in loss of heating and hot water, emergency heating measures for guests, lost bookings, increased energy costs and significant disruption to our business as we closed the house while parts were sourced from Sweden. While NIBE repaired the system under warranty, they have refused to accept responsibility for the wider financial impact of a product that appears to have been operating below specification since installation, and refused to extend our warranty, which is already extremely short (2 years) for such an expensive unit!

It's extremely complicated system to set up and use as an average end user, and any adjustments continuously require NIBE engineer or installer intervention.

For a premium product marketed on quality and efficiency, this has been a deeply disappointing experience. We have lost confidence in both the reliability of the system and NIBE's approach to customer care when serious faults arise.

We are now stuck with what is likely to remain a faulty product (if leaks are present), no compensation for extremely stressful closure of our business and excessive running costs, and no apology.

We are still waiting for NIBE to respond....but we're not willing to give up the fight!

Please avoid this product as it's a headache you'd wish you hadn't invested in! Like us.

2 days of training with Alan&Chris

Just completed 2 days of training with NIBE and couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
Day 1 with Alan covered both ASHP and GSHP systems in great detail, and Day 2 with Chris focused on heat recovery systems. Throughout both days, every aspect was covered professionally and thoroughly.
The trainers were full of experience, knowledge, and real-world insight, making the training both informative and engaging from start to finish.

A fantastic course overall and one I would highly recommend to anyone in the industry looking to expand their knowledge and skills.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Heat pump annual service

Had my heat pump annual service carried out today. I have always found Nibe Technicians to be knowledgeable and helpful. Daryl was no exception. Moreover, he was helpful to the extreme and having checked all the settings, made several suggestions, which could possibly lead to an even better efficiency. Overall, it was very satisfying to hear that our heat pump is in good condition and working well.

Great Service.

Great Service.
Daryl was a lovey guy.
I asked for a call prior to on route to ensure somebody will be home. He kept me in the loop and came and carried out the annual service.
Came did the job respected the property and lovely and polite.

Daryl was very experienced and knowledgeable in repairing our Nibe ground source units.
He gave us a courtesy call to let us know exactly when he was arriving. turned up to house and promptly replaced the parts that needed fixing.
Great service.
