I'm the owner of a booth rental salon, and over the course of two years, I lost three talented stylists to retirement. This created a challenging situation, as I struggled to find new stylists who fit our salon's culture. This is why I partnered with Slice Squad Consulting and formed a strong connection with my initial consultant. She provided innovative ideas for growth and revitalization, and her video content recommendations were extremely helpful. When she was no longer available, I was introduced to Jamie, who has been an invaluable resource. With the support of both consultants, I successfully filled two booths with new talent. Jamie has continued to offer expert guidance, helping my new team members grow their businesses. I've also experienced unexpected growth in my personal hair business. Although the journey required a significant investment of time and effort, it has been entirely worthwhile as I approach the end of my 90-day program.

I have done hair for 41 years and I have never had anyone like Jamie or a company like Slice Squad Consulting to boost my confidence to be the leader I need to be! I raised my prices 30% in a very small town and I would have never done that without Jamie supporting me. I have learned so many communicating skills, technical skills to be faster and more efficient in my work. I just can say enough good things about them. I just can’t say enough about my coach Randi. She is just awesome. In the beginning of my 90 days I had some technical difficulties. Randi was so helpful at trying to figure out what was going on and when we couldn’t figure it out. She very quickly got other team members involved. Randi helped to get focus, come with a plan and helped me to get my plan working for my business. I can honestly say this was kind of a scary thing for me to do but it was a great decision. Randi helped get myself confidents back. I’m so glad Randi is my coach. Plus all the other team members that have reached out when I’ve had struggles like Mads and Jackie. Thank you !!

Randi is a gracious, intelligent, and excellent coach. My time working with her was productive and collaborative. There were many areas in my business that were blind or weak spots for me that i was able to improve upon because of the consulting.

Meeting Becca and Alyssa at Rainbow Convention 2025 was my ah-ha moment for extensions. I always thought I would never jump into them because they felt intimidating. But then I watched the Slice Strands class at Rainbow Con and was like...hold on...I can do that! Following up at the booth after class and chatting with Becca about further details had me sold. Not only was the technique genius and easily understood....the people with the company were a vibe. Throughout the whole process everyone I spoke with was supportive and relatable and never once did I feel judged or criticized in a negative way. After 20+ years behind the chair I knew it was time to get serious with my business. I’ve had a steady flow of clients but never seemed to come out ahead. I cannot say enough about my consultant, Adriana. Before working with her, I was so stuck in not knowing what to do and she helped open my mind up to so many possibilities. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable of the business she’s also encouraging, fun, and willing to take the time to come up with creative solutions to my problems. Our coaching calls were full of valuable information, but also felt like I was gabbing with a girlfriend! She’s truly the best!

Where to start....
I wish this was something that landed in my lap way sooner. after being an independent stylist for 5 years. Nicki came across my Facebook in an ad, talking about all this crazy cut your time in half, make more money, don't be scared to hurt some feelings. Well, it works. My business has grown more than I thought it would in 90 days. I am more confident behind the chair; I can choose who is in my chair. I love the clients I have now. I'm not working the crazy schedule; I get to be home with my kids more. I am not bunt out of hair anymore and just saying yes to get a**es in my chair.
Stephanie is great! she works behind the chair, but she still finds the time to answer any questions I have, even when I send the crazy messages at all hours of the night. She took the time to break down my pricing and social media. She changed my mind set on telling people no. I can schedule them out to my next available, if people want your time and what you offer, they will wait for that appointment.

Only, thing I wish I could have changed is being able to keep the videos a little longer. It can feel like information overload. Due to my own planning maybe not taking the class during the holidays.

Randi was the best!! She’s is an amazing human being—kind, thoughtful, fun, energetic, and bubbly, while still being completely down-to-earth. She made this entire process far more enjoyable than I ever expected. What I thought would feel like all work and an added chore to my day-to-day business instead became something I genuinely looked forward to.
I love connecting with her, getting her feedback, hearing her ideas, and asking for her guidance. Oh my goodness- where to start? Stephanie has been that person that I’ve needed in my life! And Slice Squad Consulting has been that organization that I’ve needed. Working with my business coach, Max, over the past 90 days has been such a powerful experience — both personally and professionally. He’s helped me grow not only in my business but also in my mindset and confidence as a leader.

Max has a real gift for meeting you exactly where you are, then challenging you to go further. He provides accountability, follow-through, and genuinely useful resources that help you see your business from a new perspective. One of the biggest lessons I’ve taken away is that growth isn’t always linear; and Max reminds me to lean into the highs, comfort the lows, and stay grounded in my “why.”

He’s excellent at spotting strengths I didn’t always recognize in myself and encouraging growth where it matters most. The Slice Squad did an amazing job pairing us; I couldn’t have asked for a better match or a more supportive coach.

This is my second time through Slice Squad, and it’s been absolutely incredible both rounds. I’ve worked with two coaches — Alyssa and Kayla — and each experience has been above and beyond.

As a solo stylist, the level of support you get from Slice Squad is actually better than what you’d find in a salon environment. Having access to your own coach and the entire team at any time is kind of insane in the best way. Add in three live classes every week, access to every past live call, a dedicated Facebook group, and other random additions. I genuinely don’t think anyone else in the industry is doing anything close. The value is wild.

A little bit about my coaches: Kayla is sweet, nurturing, grounding and incredibly tech obsessed and detail-oriented. Alyssa is this loving, supportive, funny, wild boss babe who radiates confidence and energy. And Nicki is your straight shooter, relatable, also hilarious, and endlessly supportive. Together they make an unstoppable team.

The results speak for themselves! I doubled my income the first time I joined, and then doubled it again this round. Slice Squad has completely changed the way I approach my business and my mindset as an independent stylist. Now I’m addictrd to growth!!

Honestly, I was very nervous about signing up. There are so many crazy money taking scams out there. BUTTTT this is not one of them. I was working my freaking ass off and struggling to stay a float. Since being with Slice Squad I have more than doubled my monthly income. The people I have worked with have been absolutely amazing and so helpful. If you are on the fence about trying them, DO IT!

This program changed everything for me! Adriana was my coach and she's wonderful, Nicki M and Kat kept in contact with me the whole time, Nicki B and Jacki came into my slack channel to celebrate my first ever 10k month with me. I felt so supported, seen, and I'm really going to miss this community so much!

I've been doing hair over 20 years, spent tens of thousands on hair shows, classes and certification courses over the course of my career. This was the most money I had ever spent on myself, oustide of buying a car, and my mom guilt was real! Truth is, I was at rock bottom, stressed out, overwhelmed, anxious, and desperate for change. My credit was maxed out and I took out a loan from both Klarna and Affirm to pay for this, with no idea how I was going to make those payments. Did I say I was desperate for change?!? Because I was terrified about my situation and my marriage was questionable. That was July 30th. It's now October 26th and here's my reality:

This course is paying for itself. Not only am I making the payments on the 2 loans I took out to make this happen, I've paid off 2 other small loans, a credit card, I will have my second credit card paid off in November, my credit score is up 16 points and I'm now able to start putting back into savings.

My resting heart rate is down 10 beats per minute according to my Apple Watch (with no change to my medication since April), I'm calmer, my mind is clearer, less anxious, more organized, positive and happier.

As soon as I had access, I jumped right in. There are over 300 hours of content available and I wasn't wasting a minute! I had changes to make that should have happened 10 years ago, and now failure isn't an option.

The first time I came across guided meditation, breath work and gratitude journaling I definitely had some thoughts to myself wondering what I had signed up for. Truth is, I never have those things any power. Meditation and breath work absolutely help me calm my nervous system and focus my brain when I'm overwhelmed and spiraling, and journaling has become both an emotional purge and help me refocus when I'm not in the right headspace to be my best self at work. I'm never going back to not doing them, they're powerful tools in mental and emotional regulation that help me be more centered and focused on what actually matters.

I've never been a morning person, but now I'm up as early as possible, almost always before 6 am, and I am so much more productive at work AND at home.

My communication is better in every aspect and relationship I have. My boundaries are clearer and I'm more able to protect my peace.

I could keep going, but if anyone has made it this far, do it. Make the investment in yourself and your future, clear your mind of all judgments and jump in. The deeper you go, the more changes you will make, and the happier you'll be. I'm have ZERO regrets, I'm doing the hair I want to do and it's more beautiful than ever. I'm happier, more confident, and empowered to achieve the future that I want for myself.
