This is my favourite drive in cinema, i love the fact they have multiple locations, latest films but still show some classics, i love the good selection as they have vegan/veggie options too, their milkshakes are delicious, you can get all the film snacks you’d need delivered straight to the car, the staff are always so friendly, i honestly cannot say enough good things about Nightflix. We found them in August & went to see 5 different films between then and the end of the year, i cannot imagine going to normal indoor cinema now, Nightflix has my heart.

This was our first visit to a drive-in cinema. Although it was a 75 mile round trip for us, the drive-in at Nightflix Colchester was a superb experience. I would highly recommend it as a great evening out for the whole family. The staff were very helpful and all facilities were close by. We will definitely be booking on a regular basis and are eagerly waiting for the next film showings to be released.

Great time...and great idea for doing something fun and safe during Covid. Great to have an American We were a family of four with 20 and 18 year old "children"....all really enjoyed our Christmas Eve film. Great view although we were a large car, so had to be further back. Even rain didn't spoil the evening at all. Sound was synched perfectly with the film. All so easy and safe. Really hope Nightflix keeps going for a long time :)

We had a lovely time at Nightflix Colchester. The staff were excellent, and very friendly. The setup was very good and well organised, and we had no trouble seeing the film despite some fog that was drifting in. We went as a festive treat for the kids (we saw The Grinch), but we’ll definitely be back next year.

Been quite a few times and it's normally great, able to park and get a great view, connected radio super easily. Ordered food and it took 45 minutes to arrive which was over halfway through the movie as it was Nightmare before Christmas so only short, we went to ask where it was and they said they were waiting for the wings. There were only about 15 cars maximum in the drive in so there's no way they were slammed with orders and we'd only ordered 2 burgers, some wings, and a portion of fries. We didn't get an apology either for the late food and the burgers were lukewarm at best which was disappointing for the price of them.

The film (The grinch was great) but the words were slightly out of sync. The issue we has was the food. I had checked the menu ahead and we had planned to get pizza and milkshakes/hot choc. However when we got there i received a link which only had 4 items on. 2 hot dogs and tea/coffee. They staff member had said they send the pizza truck to another site. I wished we had been told before so we could of brought food. They said they had a hotdog truck. Was no truck im guessing making in the back. It was very hard baguette with what seemed a tinned hotdog. Very bad and no fried onions as was ordered. I took a couple of bites and left it. My partner was is vegetarian so could not order anything.

I came the previous year and was an amazing experience. But this year truly let down. If you go. Take you’re own food.

Loved it! Lots of fun and great as it’s Covid friendly too. Not a major selection of food at the branch I went to but was great even so

Booking and arriving were all very straightforward. Disappointed to find no vegan food options so we brought our own. Audio quality was fantastic! The screen however was far too dark to make out what was going on during the main feature. Adverts and pre-film stuff looked fine, but we couldn't really follow the film itself. Not helped by the glare from bright lights shining over from the industrial estate on the left, blocking this (with containers?) would help muchly. Cars in front of us had several rear lights lit up for large portions of the film, and staff were not quick to cover them up. We bought the ticket on a half-price promotion, and overall it was enjoyable but I would not book again at full price unless some of the above issues were addressed. Great idea though, could be developed into something really special.

My first time taking the kids to this experience which, unfortunately, was ruined by the fact that our order of 2 milkshakes, 1 hot chocolate, popcorn and a bag of skittles took 45 minutes to get to us. There were only a few cars at the showing so wasnt busy at all and by the time we got the food there was only 20 minutes left of the movie. On arrival it was too dark to see where I was supposed to go. It would have helped if there were clear signs on entry and exit.

Incredible fun and super well organised. Great idea for a date or brilliant event for you and your mates. Definitely recommend it and I'm coming again. Brilliant movie variety too

AMAZING! Wonderful atmosphere amazing films and the staff were so lovely! Anyone would love this.

Warm, efficient welcome from staff. Very organized set up. After first ten minutes they stopped the film due to red flashes throughout. After 10/15 minutes they restarted but red flashes continued. Some people drove out. Ordered food at 7pm it arrived at 8.30pm. After starting to eat it we realised they had got the order wrong. Food over priced, very average and a long time coming. Great James Bond film despite technical difficulties but don't bother with the food.

Loved it! So well organised and great audio via a fm channel in your car. The snacks were pretty good too. We’ve booked to watch the Bond film. Definitely brings back memories of going to the drive in as a child growing up in the Southern Hemisphere.

Oh my! What a treat! We thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend going (even in our pj’s!). Food was tasty, hot and fresh and service was fantastic. A great family night out and will do again and again.

Shocking customer service, got turned away by a rude member of staff because my daughter looked too young and we didn't have a passport with us. Contacted them via website and am still awaiting a response days later. Also venue was a run down car park in an industrial area, not worth the money even if hadn't been turned away and wasted our evening.

The conjuring - movie was rubbish but the experience of nightflix was brilliant.

Spiral - great movie, and experience was great.

Fast & Furious - again really enjoyed my night.

The staff are so kind, there to help if needed, the site in MK is brilliant and have no bad comments.

Went and watched Fast & Furious 9 at Colchester Nightflix last night, this was my first visit to a nightflix and have to say it was better than I thought it was going to be, staff were friendly and helpful, film was clear and sound was good and in sync, we will be going again for sure :)
