We had such a great experience working with Alex from Nineteen Interiors. Our living room had been sitting empty for ages because we couldn’t figure out what to do with it, and Alex came in with ideas that immediately made sense for us. She really listened to what we wanted and turned it into a space that feels warm, inviting, and genuinely enjoyable to be in.

The transformation is honestly better than we expected—we absolutely love spending time in the room now. Alex was easy to work with, thoughtful about the details, and kept everything moving smoothly. We’d happily recommend her to anyone looking to refresh their home.

We recently worked with Nineteen Interiors on redesigning the communal area in one of our residential buildings, and the results have been outstanding. We have been working with Alex for two years and she has been absolutely incredible! Alex’s designs are beautiful and well thought through. She has helped us with a number of rooms and adhoc design pieces. Alex is always available to support especially in liaising with carpenters, blind makers, plumbers to make sure her designs are implemented as planned. Alex and her team came to my house to help with a few rooms. In particular, our main bathroom, kitchen and colour scheme for a number of rooms.

With her help, we managed to bring various tile styles together through to the tap colours and door knobs. She was thorough in her approach and made me and my husband feel at ease with our decisions. After 20 years of family use, our lounge desperately needed updating. So we were absolutely delighted to work with Alex to achieve our dream. We very much wanted the lounge to flow into the garden with earthy tones, a classic/contemporary space with atmospheric lighting and of course comfort. We discussed our ideas, tastes, colour schemes and functionality of the space.

Her recommendations and suggestions were very much appreciated and were invaluable to the finished, overall feel of the room. For example, Alex suggested a lounge layout that hadn’t even crossed our minds. Dividing the room into two areas was difficult for us to imagine. However, we trusted her judgment and what a result! The space was transformed. It felt so much bigger and gave more flow to the room. Genius! A mood board and sample fabrics really helped our untrained eyes to better understand the design concept. Throughout the whole process, Alex kept us informed of any changes and improvements and any queries were discussed thoroughly. At the end of the project, the install took place whilst we left Alex & Mike to dress our new lounge. The excitement was overwhelming; we’d never used an Interior Designer before. The great reveal was simply magical.

Alex is very professional, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She gave us every confidence that she would take our ideas and make it so much more than we could have ever thought possible and she did just that. It’s almost like she ran through our minds and plucked out our dreams. Basically, Alex completely nailed it!
