On the 18th July, I took delivery of a Durabull garden barrow, ordered via Amazon.
I was unable to assemble it, as the holes in the two parts of the main frame did not align, and would thus not allow the bolts to cleanly pass through.
The returned item was delivered to the supplier by Parcelforce on the 25th July. I gave advance notice to Ningbo that the return costs would be £46.45.
Amazon has returned the purchase price of the faulty item. Clearly, as the goods were faulty, I would expect to be refunded any return delivery costs.
I have now sent three email requests direct to the company. After more than a month, I have yet to receive the courtesy of an acknowledgement or response.
Customer service is appalling
Customer service is appalling. Ordered a large bag of compost which couldn’t be delivered. I had to chase my refund for three weeks, nobody answered any emails and despite being told my refund was pending they finally admitted it had ‘been missed’ - I have finally received an email to say my refund is pending but might take up to 10 days. Avoid this company - hopeless!!

Let down- it’s my dad’s 90th birthday party this evening and I was two trestle tables short which I ordered back in March with a mid September delivery. Have been chasing all week and was promised delivery yesterday at 5pm from Debs at Ningbo who knew how important this was. Phoned at 5.20 yesterday when they hadn’t arrived (office hours are advertised to 5.30) but out of office was on and they’d all gone home. Disappointed beyond believe and now trying to work out a B plan.
efficient ordering and delivery
Ordered 10 trestle tables. Cheryl was helpful and efficient in providing a cost estimate and invoice. Delivery was arranged quickly following payment of invoice and delivery was made on the agreed date with no issues.
Poor Quality of Goods, Poor Communication
We will never purchase from them again!!
In March we ordered 150 chairs and was informed at the time of order that they could fulfil 100 with the remaining 50 arriving by the end of May.
The first 100 arrived on time and were of a good standard.
The remaining 50 did not arrive on time. We consistently had to chase for updates - they had a very flippant attitude. The chairs eventually arrived in JULY. We were not informed that the 50 arriving later would be a slightly different colour as they could not exactly replicate the colour.
The chairs had a poor finish, they should have been coated in silver, but the material underneath was exposed on many of the chairs.
Sharp nails were exposed and dangerous.
We contacted Ningbo about this challenge. When they finally did respond, it was not acceptable.
DON'T EVER ORDER FROM NINGBO ONLINE
Not immediately clear what the sizing is to an inexperienced gardener. I accept responsibility for that. However, even if I had realised, there was no communication whatsoever about delivery date, so I was left to deal with a HUGE amount if mulch which wouldn't fit through my gate and was a kerside delivery. I didn't have anyone onsite to help me and I was running a training at the time so couldn't accept it. I had to send it back, or risk blocking the pavement. I was charged nearly £100!!! Astonishingly unhelpful on the phone. DO NOT USE THIS SITE.

I have ordered from this company a couple of times and I have had no problems at all.
Not the quality we thought.
First delivery both items damaged when received and returned. New delivery date promised before the week end. The items were delivered after the weekend and had slight damage, items were dropped and driver unloaded items and left, prior to being checked.

I placed an order for four table tops …
I placed an order for four table tops only to be told that they were out of stock even though they were on there web site. i reordered after beaning given another choice of finish only to be told that they only had two of the tops in stock so i was paid a refund and was told that they needed to better update there web site to avoid disappointing someone else. the lady that i who sorted out the order was excellent and i would place any future orders with them.
