Warning- you’ll get super sleepy using this blanket, awesome purchase

The product is ok, but I thought it would be bigger, I didn't realize I would have preferred a king so that it would fit on our full bed and we could share it. I also don't understand how to use the heating aspects of the blanket. It does feel overpriced for what it is.

The quality and service is amazing. My grandson who is 6 loves his and his mother said she sleeps deeper with the added weight. I have no hesitation recommending the blankets, which I have done to family and friends.

I was excited to get my blanket as I had heard so many good things about the weighted blanket. Unfortunately I found the blanket too heavy and I couldn’t sleep.
I contacted the company to send it back and Emma got back to me right away. She helped me navigate some roadblocks and the blanket is on its way back to Nirvana. I will recommend Nirvana to people looking to purchase a weighted blanket. Thanks.

I love my new Nirvana Bamboo blanket. I can't believe how quickly I received the item. I have a friend who ordered 2 days before me from another company and the item still has not left. So happy I went with Nirvana. One thing I was thinking would be helpful is to offer to purchase extra covers so there is a spare for when it is being cleaned and maybe even different colors and possibly one side plush.
I regret not buying the pillow at the same time for the bundle saving. If I already love the blanket this much I'm sure the pillow will be just as great.

Purchased this directly from Nirvana. Used it for one night and hated it. We found it too big for one person, but too small for two people. This meant that it was pretty much just piled up on top of one side of the bed. The blanket also reeked like the inside of a factory. I contacted Nirvana and they refused to pay for return shipping on the basis that the product wasn't damaged. Shipping back to Montreal was $30. It took them a month and a half to process the refund, which they reluctantly did, and then they deducted $60 off the return value claiming the blanket was 'dirty' (which it wasn't). Do not buy this blanket on Amazon or otherwise.

You will notice a pattern. You will notice some honest reviews with scenarios that make sense and many others using the same descriptive words, using caps and the blanket's name over and over again. This company is fishier than my one week old tuna sandwich or however that review said it. It truly is disgusting to me how this company seems to be running. Making false claims, not replying to customers who reach out to them. Withholding people's hard earned money. They do not even reply to their own reviews. Buyer beware. I did some research. I asked some questions. Serious questions were ignored. I called them. No answer. I called the next day, no answer.

Beware. I'm very glad that I did not end up purchasing.

Update: They seem to be trying to remedy the problem with the shifting bands. We had some unfortunate issues with the bands shifting and lumping, rendering the pricey blanket useless. We also had some unfortunate issues with poor communication and an unwillingness to resolve the problem. Finally, after a long delay, Nirvana sent us new upgraded bands; the material is less slippery and doesn't shift as much. We haven't had a chance to really try out the new bands due to the weather being hot, but we do want to try the blanket again. I'll let you know if the new bands work. For now, I'm pleased that they are trying to resolve the problems. From a pure product perspective, it seems to be well made and of good quality. The statements that you can easily cool the bands or heat them is somewhat misleading; it is time-consuming and cumbersome to take out the 12 weighted bands, heat or cool them, and then try to place the bands back in their channels. It's pretty much a two person job; one person feeds the weighted band in one end, and the other person pulls it from the other end. As others have noted, there are cheaper products on the market but I do not know if the quality is comparable.

I really enjoy the blanket. I used to wake up about 4-5 times every night, since I have it I wake up only once. The blanket is well balanced, keep you warm and the pressure on your body really makes a smooth sleep :)! I highly recommend it! Only lowside, sometimes, it's a bit heavy to move around, but it feels great and really has made my sleep much better :)! Thanks!

Liars. Making false claims. Blanket NOT made in Canada... NO lab studies. Run by children. A buddy of mine and I will be investigating. We run an ethical clothing business not far from their location and recently got some inside info that disgusts us. This company makes Canada look really bad and it is only a matter of time before the truth comes to light.

I ALSO totally get the feeling that these reviews are FAKE!

I came to know about the christmas sale of this company from one my neighbour and I purchased the Nirvana bamboo bundle which I feel has become a bundle of joy for me. All the products provided with the bundle are of superb quality. The best thing is I got it for free shipping as well in a huge discount. I had high hopes for this blanket... not as described... I ended up returning it three months ago, but somehow the company still asked me for a review... I am awaiting a refund, and we'll see if that happens as it's been way beyond the 60 days they say that they will refund within. Terrible customer service, unclear instructions and directions, slow website, and no one answers the phone. The communication was soo poor at first that I was actually surprised I even received the blanket. Someone said it smelled... and I agree, lol. I actually wonder where the blankets are coming from as I kept getting a tracking number that was inexistent...

That being said, my friend purchased one from Gravity, which wasn't amazing either, but a bit better than this Nirvana one... I truly don't know the story behind this blanket and didn't want to say anything negative... but in the end, it just seemed fishy the entire experience... maybe bc everything was being told to me in English by someone who doesn't speak it... :( idk!

Nope. Worst company ever. LIARS! Still waiting for my refund. Be sure you want it, bc if you return it, they will ignore you and lie to you. It's been over 3 months that they are continuously jerking me around. I think they are going bankrupt... I returned the second blanket I had purchase bc the material was itchy and different than the first blanket I bought. Quality has gone wayyyyy down. Smells to... Invest a nice weighted duvet that two people can be under, not this crap.

Let me start off by saying I have struggled with anxiety since a very long time which made me impossible to sleep. I use to sleep only for very short span of time but now I'm able to sleep all through the night. After using this blanket for about a week I could feel the change in my sleep.
Now, I am able to wake up in a great mood , also feel quite refreshed. This blanket is worth every penny and has really given me hope to a normal life!!! The blanket is really very soft and cozy. I have absolutely nothing negative to say it's utterly PERFECT!

I bought this Nirvana weighted blanket because I was having trouble falling asleep. Since I've been using it, I find that I stay asleep longer and wake up refreshed. I also find the weight of the blanket very much comforting. The quality of the fabric used is also of top-notch. I am that I bought this product!!
