So these guys have cleaned carpets at our parents house (charge £19/ room). Matt convinced me to go for a full house and carpet clean at our new place after I called them. They said they needed a 50% deposit. I told them I had damp suspicions and there was blood stains from previous owner. Matt convinced me he could clean it or will try. I called him to cancel as we were then told the carpets needed removing due to severe damp. Not only did this unethical company tell me they would only take a 50% deposit, they ended up taking the full amount without my consent!! I called and was promised a refund within 3-5 working day. The refund has still not been issued 1 month later. I was told there were technical issues.

I’ve contacted them every 3-5 days seeing if a refund has been issued and nothing has. Disgusting and appalling service. I was planning to use them for general cleans and would recommend but after this incident, NEVER. Stay far away! You can see they’ve changed their names several times too! Surely trying to scam people out of their money.

I am wondering if these guys are not a scam. I booked their services over the phone and described the house and where their help was needed. When the come in, they say they charge a supplement for the number of steps (we have standard terrace house floors), and also extra for the dog pees. Then they look at the kids' room and say the carpet is viscose and can't clean it. Most surprisingly, they said they can't bring their machine in the house because it is too high (again, it is a London terrace house, not a castle), very strange...

Soo many reasons not to use this company. Very shoddy work. It’s all av] out add ins, terrible customer support and very poor technicians. I herear they have moved address to avoid complaints. If you are thinking of using them don’t. I am still awaiting my refund but they just ignore me so I keep posting Brad reviews to save other people from this dreadful company.

Very efficient Company. The guy who cleaned our carpets this morning was on time, very courteous and polite. Definitely recommend this firm and will use again in the future. Don’t hesitate to contact them, you won’t be let down or regret it!

I have tried several times to send claim information to No.1 Carpet clearers, but they have moved addresses and not update companies house; a red flag for anybody wanting to do business with these scammers. They did such a bad job that I had to have the carpets re-cleaned - the people doing the second clean a week later said that little or no dirt was removed from the carpets on the previous clean and all the "stains" that No1. carpet cleaners could not remove came up without any problems.

This is my second time using No1, and it certainly won’t be the last! Excellent service provided. When the chap arrived, he advised my house sitter that 2 of the carpets would benefit from a deep clean and immediately quoted this. He carried out the work and even left some shoe covers behind. He arrived on time and the carpets look new. Would highly recommend.

I had my carpets cleaned yesterday and that was primarily just so it was clean for the holidays. I had in fact booked someone to come and rip out everything after March next year, and replace with laminates. I have to cancel that now because the carpets look good as new! I will be keeping them for longer now, and just use you (no 1 carpet cleaners) to keep it clean. I hope I get the same technician because this job was so well done. I am one very pleased customer.

I would never use this company again.Man arrived with no mask or consideration for Covid.He went on to clean the carpets and now they are dry i cant see any improvement what so ever.The guy was only interested in trying to sell deep cleaning treatments and moved virtually nothing out of the way.Whole carpet clean completed in 45 minutes for a large two bedroom house.Never again.Total waste of money.

And a load of excuses as a reply.The carpets looked no different then before they were cleaned.Total waste of money.Please dont use this company and read all the reviews.Money scammers.

Awesome experience. Was not happy with the function of their vacuum, but they offered me a solution which worked 100% for me and was one of the best experience I've ever had with such companies.

Ash and Benji cleaned the carpets in a three bedroom house and did a great job. They checked at various times that I was happy with how they had done at each stage. They were punctual, polite and thorough.
I have no hesitation in recommending them and will be contacting them next time.

We had Benji and Ashley down to clean our carpets in Leek and they did a superb job. We had some tough tea stains and they were gone in no time. Plus they were curtious, respectful and let us know what time they were coming so we didnt wait around. Couldn't ask for more, I would definitely recommend these guys and this company!

No.1 Carpet Cleaners were excellent from start to finish. Service was easy to book on the phone, with friendly and helpful service. On the day of the carpet clean the engineer turned up on time, was polite and efficient. He explained the process then completed the work to a really high standard. He also maintained social distancing at all times and kept doors/windows open for ventilation so I felt safe and comfortable. The carpets came up better than expected, and I was delighted with the outcome. Fantastic service from start to finish at a very competitive price, and would 100% recommend based on my experience.
