Some restaurants feed you. Some impress you. And then there are the rare few that quietly grab you by the collar and remind you why going out for dinner became a thing in the first place.
Noble falls firmly into that last category.
The bread arrived first. Dangerous territory. Good bread can ruin your appetite before you've even started. This bread was exactly that sort of trouble. The wheaten bread in particular tasted like an Irish sunset — warm, balanced, comforting and somehow nostalgic. The kind of thing you keep "just nibbling" until half the basket has mysteriously disappeared.
Then came a tuna special that nearly derailed the evening entirely. Refreshing, deeply savoury and packed with that rich meaty quality that good tuna possesses. The rice delivered a proper hit of umami. It was one of those dishes that makes you slow yourself down because your first instinct is to inhale it like a Labrador finding an unattended Sunday roast.
The crab dish was a revelation. Crab, avocado, tomato and pickle on toast doesn't sound revolutionary. But then you taste it. The pickle was the conductor of the orchestra. It tied together sweetness, freshness and aromatic brightness into something that felt less like food and more like music. I genuinely don't think I'd appreciated how important pickling can be until this plate arrived.
For the main course, lobster.
Now, lobster is often disappointing. Expensive? Usually. Worth it? Not always.
This one was magnificent.
Sweet, fresh, generously meaty and cooked with confidence. Not hidden beneath gimmicks or drowned in unnecessary fuss. It felt gloriously indulgent. Every mouthful was a reminder that sometimes luxury isn't complexity—it's simply exceptional ingredients treated properly.
Alongside it were beef-fat chips that performed a remarkable trick. The first bite had me slightly worried. Then they transformed. As the meal went on, they became increasingly addictive, revealing crisp edges and rich savoury depth that bordered on the divine. By the end they tasted like tiny crunchy fragments of godliness.
Even the salad refused to be an afterthought.
You know when a salad arrives and it's merely there to fulfil some contractual obligation to vegetables? Not here. This was the sort of salad that makes you stop mid-conversation and say, "Hang on... why is this so good?" Fresh, vibrant and genuinely delicious.
Dessert finished the evening perfectly.
It felt like rereading a favourite old book. Familiar, comforting and reassuring, yet somehow revealing new details you'd never noticed before. It didn't try to shock. It simply wrapped everything up with elegance and warmth.
The wine deserves a mention too. It was the culinary equivalent of a good Coldplay song—refreshing, uplifting and somehow connecting all the different parts of the experience together into a coherent whole.
Noble doesn't shout. It doesn't perform tricks. It simply serves outstanding food with enough confidence to let the ingredients do the talking.
And by the end of the meal, they had plenty to say.
Rating: 9.5/10
A restaurant that reminds you that great cooking isn't about showing off. It's about making you sit back, smile, and wonder when you can come back and do it all again.

After an initial 15 minute wait to get through to a call handler(lines were busy and I was number 8 in the queue) Luke was great, he talked me through each step and made me feel confident that things were being dealt with in a professional manner - now waiting to see what happens about the repair!

Avoid if you expect efficient claims handling and proper customer care.
Following my accident on 29/09/2025, my Mercedes E350e was processed through DCL insurance, with claim handling by Noble Claims and repairs carried out at A to Z Garage in Colindale.
My vehicle remained at the repair garage for approximately 6 months waiting for parts. This excessive delay alone was unacceptable.
Prior to the accident, my vehicle had successfully passed MOT and TfL licensing inspections with no rear suspension noise, no battery issues, and no suspension faults.
After collection, while cosmetic repairs had been completed, multiple new mechanical issues became immediately apparent, including battery deterioration, rear noise, suspension imbalance, and pump/shock absorber faults that did not exist before the accident or prolonged storage.
Rather than properly investigating these issues, I was repeatedly told these were normal wear-and-tear items or common Mercedes maintenance issues. This explanation is difficult to accept considering the vehicle had no such faults beforehand and these issues only appeared after months in storage and repair.
To make matters worse, I was advised to obtain confirmation from Mercedes that these problems were directly linked to the accident or repair period before further action could be considered, effectively shifting responsibility back onto the customer.
The entire process has been stressful, time-consuming, and unnecessarily difficult.
Insurance and claims management should reduce stress after an accident — not create further vehicle issues, delays, and disputes.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise customers to carefully review their repair and claims options before proceeding.
I have not heard back from the Senior Manager as of today. This is my phone number: +44 7459 041890. Please call me if you would like to resolve this issue.
