I had a discovery call with Huey on technical support, and he was amazing, gave me loads of great advice and tips, and he is really an expert master of van electrics, and knows his stuff!

He gave me more time than he had to to talk through my options on my van electrical system upgrade. And was extremely helpful.

I've just ordered some cables and products from Nohma, and waiting to receive them. Huey even offered more time and to help me with advise installing them.

So I am a very grateful and happy customer! Thanks so much to Huey and the Nohma team, 100% recommend!

Nohma were absolutely brilliant sorting out my full off grid set up. Talked me through everything several times when I couldn’t understand and gave me lots of options all depending on my budget. I’m so glad I chose Nohma as they have made the electrics in my van one less thing to worry about.. 😊

Incredible customer service, Sam was who handled my system & ordering. He was incredibly kind, helpful and friendly. Answered any questions I had as I know nothing about electrics, talked through it all with me and was available through phone call & email when I needed. Awaiting my delivery but so far Nohma seems very worth it, not only for the great packages but the customer service.

Jack was helpful from start to finish, didn’t pressure me into anything and advised me on what system would best suite me and my budget along with everything I had planned for my van conversion, can’t speak highly enough of the company, order was confirmed Thursday afternoon and arrived first thing Tuesday morning !

Absolutely excellent service from start to finish. My point of contact, Sam, was amazing. Really thorough, knowledgeable and helpful. This is my first camper van build so I had lots of questions and gaps in my knowledge which he worked through patiently with me to make sure I got the best system for my needs. I had no idea where to start and within 3 days we had the full system for my defender overland rig designed and ordered I wanted to get this sorted so that I could fit it with my poptop I'm installing to create a seamless set up and will really helped with this an asset to Nohma

I have now finished installing the electrical system in our expedition truck. The process began with the purchase of Nohma's Van Conversion book which provides an excellent overview for converting a panel van into a camper, based on real life experiences. The section on electrics prompted us to seek their help with the design of a system built around our projected electrical demands and number of days off grid. We did some initial preparation by looking at suitable locations for the larger items in the system to take account of cable lengths, air circulation as well as roof space for solar panels

The system design arrived promptly and, once approved and paid for, the various components were delivered within a few days. Although the Fogstar battery came on a slow boat from China, it did not hold up the installation.

The design was broken into sections which made the process more manageable. All the calculations had been made regarding the individual components, including cable dimensions and fuses. During the installation, engineers were on hand to answer/ explain any queries by email or video call. Last December, we travelled down to Dartmoor to meet up with Huey, our engineer, to discuss/ solve charging parameters for our system

The business model is almost unique in providing a design service and ongoing support, as needed. The only proviso is that the components should be sourced through Nohma. The prices are reasonably competitive, but the real jewel in the crown is the bespoke design along with support from engineers who are enthusiastic and have real knowledge and experience. It worked for us.

Chose Nohma for my van conversion after looking at several other suppliers online, drop them an email and they got back to me the same day asking what my requirements were, I explained to them the sort of system I was after i.e. how many days I want to go off grid how many days I want to go to campsites and plug into shore power what I would be using the power for in the van. They got back to me within 24 hours with a quote and a system. We tweet the system a little bit to make it a little bit cheaper for my budget. The products all arrived within a week, and the battery followed a couple of days after as that came from a different supplier through them. I personally found the instructions for fitting the system very easy as it doesn’t just give you a diagram of what it’s going to look like it sets up each part of the system piece by piece, and then gives you all the settings. You need to set your system to once you connect the system to your phone. The system has now been fitted in my van for four months.
I recently had an issue with the alarm going off on the system, I try to Google it, I eventually got in contact with Nohma , and the tech guy, Huey, sent me an email back and arranged a appointment for a video call, he remotely connected to my system and sorted everything out for me. The problem was my fault as I put the live and the neutral the wrong way round on the multi plus. I have got to say it’s been a first class service from start to finish okay? Yes you can buy the stuff slightly cheaper elsewhere but you wouldn’t get the level of service that I got from Huey today, he also informed me that no matter how old the system is I can contact them at any time to see if they can fix it for me no matter where I am. I would certainly highly recommend Nohma.

Great after sales help and assistance exactly as promised. Very friendly, informative and patient, Huey and Adam have been great in getting my system up and running at its best, including trouble shooting some minor issues created by myself.

Just confirmed my order with Nohma and so far it’s been a really good experience! From the first call, Sam listened patiently to my electrical requirements for our gasless campervan conversion. He swiftly came up with various solutions to deliver the specification for our needs. After some back and forth (with quick responses from Sam) we finally agreed on our system. Sam then reminded me that they offer a price match against major components which enabled me to feel that not only was I receiving expert advice, but at the best deal too! You're dealing with engineers, not sales people and that made the entire process much more comforting.

For years my better half wanted a campervan buying one outright wasn’t an option and apart from the woodwork I didn’t think I had the required skill set to do my own. The electrics in particular caused me a lot of anxiety having only wired a plug previously. Eventually she got her way, and I was introduced to NOHMA when she bought the van conversion bible. I hadn’t realised companies like this existed. With a bit of research I realised there were others as well. I started to complete the online form of a competitor but quickly stopped as I didn’t understand many of the questions, NOHMA was so much easier and very quickly I had a quote and video consultation set up with Adam. They had designed and speced a system based on my usage audit and was well within budget. At this point I realised I wanted a bit of redundancy in the system, I would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it . So we increased the spec and within a short period it was all delivered and I was introduced to Huey, my engineer contact. following their instructions I slowly measured, cut, crimped and routed cables . Huey always on hand for those lame questions( they are never really lame).
Jump forward a few mths I now have a full victron spec system, I haven’t been electrocuted and I earned countless brownie points with the wife. I actually understand what I built and can calculate cable sizes and fuse ratings.
Could It be done cheaper, if you know what you need yes. If you don’t then you have 3 options pay someone else to install it , rely on questionable information on Facebook or give NOHMA a call. You won’t regret calling NOHMA and the satisfaction of completing this complex task will stay with you for a long time.

When planing my campervan conversion I had an idea of the electrical system that I wanted but once I started looking into the details of how to create it I quickly realised how much time it was going to take to design it properly. I'm lucky in that I am pretty familiar with electronics but the variety of modules and functionality available was daunting, and it was going to be difficult to make sure that everything worked together. I had heard of nohma through Charlie and Dale's books so I filled in a spec sheet on their website. Sam got back to me and we went through the specs and he sent a proposal to me. nohma use Victron equipment which I have used before (smart battery chargers) and I've been impressed with it and wanted to use it in my campervan. I also want to support small businesses in the UK so I ordered the package. It arrived promptly and the team followed up to check all was OK. I'm in the middle of the build so I can't say anything about the outcome but I needed the solar panels early in the conversion process. It's good to know that the nohma team will be there if I have any questions or issues and I can' wait until it's all installed!

Will talked me through all of our needs for our camper conversion, it took all of the stress out spending weeks googling trying to find parts and diagrams. We received a full installation manual with details of how to configure the system once we were up and running. I have had some experience with basic 12v system installs on my husbands 4x4 vehicles for overland trips but a project of this size and adding the 240v system was all very new, I had to have a bit of technical help at the end powering up the Multiplus 2 but Huey who was fantastic and lovely, sorted it out straight away with one quick video call and even jumped on my VRM account to do the firmware update for me so thank you, a big help!! We did order a solar panel which ended up being be too big (our fault!) after we had our custom roof rack made but Molly sorted us out straight away with a swap for 2 smaller panels, nothing was too much trouble.
I would recommend Nohma to anyone thinking of doing a self build, especially beginners because their support is second to none! Thank you guys, can't wait to get the van finished and on the road now! :)
