NCL 2024 was an exceptional event.
The speakers were all people at the top of their field (crypto, geopolitics, monetary policy, asset protection and diversification, even birth tourism!) who were there not only to share their knowledge via speeches and panel discussions but they also made themselves available for private conversations at meal times and breaks between sessions.
The setting at the Majestic Hotel in KL was also very fitting for the event and everything was planned out quite well with a good mix of Malaysian and Western food options and full days of engaging speeches with plenty of break opportunities to network and socialize mixed in.
What I actually found most valuable though, were the networking opportunities available, and I think this is the main reason people should attend the next event if they're considering it. I've been to many business events and I have to say the quality of the guests (700+ ) was across the board the best of any I've been to yet. Not only were most of them highly accomplished, interesting people (investors, entrepreneurs, successful business people), there was a consistently high level of friendliness and openness which I think stems from the event drawing the type of people attracted to the Nomad Capitalist ethos of "going where you're treated best".

I attended the 2024 conference in Kuala Lumpur it was a fantastic experience and a great place to network and meet like-minded people. Lots of amazing resources

I enjoyed the event very much. Javier Correa's speeches were great. He is a exceptionally talented tax attorney. The Nomad team in general was great. I hope to go back next year.

My name is Dimitri,
It was an excellent experience. Great Event, great speakers. I made a lot of great connections. Natalia Rincon was my favorite Nomad Capitalist speaker, she gave a lot of value and was very kind and helpful and the entertainment was on point.

I loved the great speakers and networking! Being my 2nd NCL, I didn't like that they more than doubled the crowd, but ignored many of our comments last year - to announce a general location where recent speakers could be found instead of hoping to find them in a crowd of 750! As a former hi-level event planner in DC, I noticed surprising "rookie mistakes" (e.g. names printed on nametags were tiny & unreadable; event program used ridiculously small print (font size 6?) so you couldn't read names of speakers, etc.) Basically, top-shelf speakers at a somewhat unprofessional event. With 750 guests, only 150 could go to the party w/Miss Indonesia...why not use the ballroom so all could come. Most egregious: current clients who had invested $25K to $100K in NC were given NO opportunity to meet Andrew Henderson!

Attended the Nomad Capitalist Live event. Great network, great speakers, however the team were more focussed on selling and pushing people into $28,000 + contracts, even without context or proper discussion. The organiser Andrew Henderson was more arrogant than usual, and despite the high attendance fee, felt he was entitled to be a rockstar. Meanwhile some of the speakers, who deserve the attention were more than accommodating and willing to meet attendees. There were some amazing people, sadly the organisers came across as obnoxious and arrogant. Will be considering whether to attend next year.
Again - the people we met were 1000% worth it, it was all about the network.

Thanks for putting on the event. It’s my second time at NC live, I just had to come back again. Great information, lovely speakers and great networking. I’ve really met some wonderful people here, some will be friends for life and looking forward to collaborate with others. Also a big shout out to Khatia from the NCL team!

Nomad Capitalist is an amazing company to work with! Without their help we would not be able to accomplish so much in such a short period of time. Susana has been wonderful as our case officer. She is always on top of everything and continually follows up even when we get behind on our list of "to does". Their contacts in every country we have experienced are knowledgeable an kind people.
Your future is in good hands! Nomad makes the impossible seem easy.

I attended the recent Nomad Capitalist Live conference and had a great time. The speakers were awesome and I had a lot of fun hanging out and making new connections. The event was very well run and it was a pleasure to speak with members of the NC team who were both knowledgeable and friendly. I was kind of expecting some high pressure sales or something but there was nothing like that at all fortunately!

The Nomad Capitalist Live event was great. Mr. Henderson and team were awesome. The speakers and event was pack full of information and not focused on sales like other conferences. All the team members all attentive and knowledgeable.

I spoke to 50+ people at the event, and most of them were not too happy, but sadly most will not have the guts to leave a real review.
This is a fair and balanced review for those who want the truth from someone who was there at the event and I've been to a number of other events to compare.
I think the event was worth the money, but I did get lucky... I fear most people will feel cheated by this event.
Most presentations at the Nomad Capitalist event are vague, generic and a glorified sales pitch to become a client of Nomad Capitalist, which is fair enough...
...but it's 5+ hours per day, so it is very tedious as everyone is just waiting for the break so we can network.
With 75%+ of the room being 7-figure earners, it is pretty patronising and tedious to have presentations that cover such basic content that anyone who has researched the most basic content around nomad living, taxes and immigration laws will already know. I mean, it's so basic you can learn most of it in the next few hours using Google.
Everyone I spoke to was fed up with that crap within the first day. Some were really unhappy as they were hoping for some real insight.
The event has outgrown the venue. It is far too busy, with too many people and not enough space. They doubled the capacity, so you are crammed in the social area with loud music playing, so you cannot hear anything.
With 750 people, you barely get a chance to network and you have to be very strategic and fast as you don't get much time to make contact before being ushered back in for another generic presentation.
Many people had to leave to a side room or go to another area to chat. Not very well thought out.
Even at breakfast, they play loud music, which is exhausting. Every single person I spoke to complained about it.
Andrew Henderson does not appear to shake hands or chat with anyone unless you pay $25,000 for a VIP ticket. He hides behind the stage and the VIP area. He did not appear.
I found this a bit arrogant and disrespectful. When people spend $5,000+ to go to a conference, a quick walk around and a handshake would be appreciated but this does not happen. Even if I had not gotten a chance to shake his hand, it would have meant a lot to see him do it. It's the least he can do to thank people who gave up considerable time to be there. Valuable time.
The theme of the conference was "Love" and Andrew kept talking about it, but I guess love only applies if you pay the fee.
They did not even have a closing statement to thank people. The conference ended abruptly without anyone saying "Thank you."
Bob Henderson just finished a Q&A session (with generic chit-chat without answering most of the questions properly) and put the microphone down and stood there looking at the crowd...
Then he picked up the mic and said, "That's it, folks..." and walked away... 😂
The whole room sat there in silence for 5 seconds as we all digested this; it was really awkward as people glanced around wondering if we were supposed to leave now...
We were expecting some closing remarks from Andrew, but nothing. It was really strange.
The organisation was not great either... many speakers were moved to different times without telling anyone, there was no note on how long speakers were on, and some were only on for literally 5 minutes, more of an info-commercial than a value presentation.
I was looking forward to a presentation about "Travelling With Bad Passports" but the woman came on and just said "Make sure you fill in the form properly" and then left. It lasted less than 5 minutes...
Again, it's just really weird, as she was listed as a main speaker.
I got the impression she was asked to cut it short.
Fear-mongering: all the presentations were there to scare you into fearing the worst.
I met some great people and made some amazing contacts, but its a numbers game. I could easily have missed the people I met and chatted with others who, despite good people, would not be of any value to me as a contact or future partner in any way.
This is normal, so there is no harm in it, but when presented with loud music, overcrowding, disorganization, time-wasting presentations, and so on, networking becomes much harder.
I know many people left the event disappointed, which is a shame as all the points mentioned above would have been very simple to fix.
It was careless and inconsiderate, considering that 95% of people who attended were flying in from all over the world, spending $5,000/$10,000+ on the event, and spending 4+ days at the event.
Would I go back next year?
Yes, I would. However, if you are thinking of going, go with your eyes open. Be ruthless with the networking and work the room. The odds are stacked against you as covering as many of the 750 people is a challenge and Nomad Capitalist does its utmost to stop you from being able access, hear, enjoy or get value from the event.
