My trip to La Palma with Nomad Photography Tours exceeded every expectation. Jawad knows the island inside out and took us to some breathtaking locations for landscape shots. I was totally new to astrophotography, but Jawad made learning the ropes so easy and approachable. With his expert tips on camera settings and composition, I ended up taking photos I never thought I was capable of capturing.

Beyond the shooting, the accommodation was top-notch and offered the perfect peaceful retreat to relax between sessions. The group editing sessions back at the house were a massive highlight—Jawad’s patience and depth of knowledge really helped me understand how to bring out the best in my new astrophotography images.

It was a brilliant, fun, and educational trip from start to finish. I'd jump at the chance to go on another tour with Jawad!

La Palma is renowned for its Dark Sky status and over five amazing nights, it certainly delivered the best night skies I have experienced in the northern hemisphere! Under the expert guidance of Jawad both Landscape and Astrophotography were covered at some wonderful locations. Jawad was very attentive to participants’ varying experience, helping us improve in many aspects. I, for one, came away more knowledgeable about shooting multi-row panoramas. Practical post processing sessions allowed us to start to get the best out of our images with the knowledge that there is support for three months after the tour. I highly recommend Nomad Photography Tours and Jawad’s experience and guidance. I can’t wait to do another Tour!

I can't recommend Nomad tours enough for a wonderful experience in Tenerife. The host was very well experienced and enabled me to take my astrophotography to another level. Everything was taken care of from the planning and execution through to the post processing of our images. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip and look forward to the next one (which will likely be La Palma) 📸✨💫⭐

This was the first Astrophotography trip I've done and it was superb. The group was lovely, the locations in beautiful Tenerife were fab to enjoy the night sky. I came away feeling like I had learned lots of skills to use from the experience. That Milky way was awesome. Jawad took time in taking me through some of the editing post processing issues I struggled with and this was so helpful. It is one thing to have knowledge and it's another skill to be able to pass that on in the right way to build confidence. It felt relaxed, with tailored instruction, there are lots of great memories I have taken away from my trip. I would highly recommend. Thank you for a great experience. Hopefully La palma next!

We had a great time in La Palma. Jawad knew all the right places to take us and was very patient in explaining the techniques, lenses and settings that were needed to get the best shots.
