We contacted ‘No Milk Like Mamas’ for a tongue tie consultation for our newborn. We were seen to quickly and Luisa performed the frenulotomy. We have seen an immediate improvement in our baby’s ability to feed. We had the same successful outcome with our eldest, who was also tongue tied and seen by Luisa.

Luisa is experienced, friendly, professional and genuinely caring. She also takes the time to answer questions and explains everything in detail - which is reassuring to any parent. In addition, the follow up support provided is exceptional.

This is the kind of service all mothers deserve, it was money well spent and my only regret is not getting in touch sooner.

We first saw Luisa when my son was 3 weeks old and he was not gaining enough weight. Luisa was absolutely wonderful and kind from the start, I really felt we were in good hands. Luisa carried out an assessment and provided comprehensive advice for breastfeeding as well as a subsequent frenulotomy. Although my son's weight did improve, it wasn't as much as it should have been weeks after his frenulotomy and we discussed other additional potential causes. With the amazing support received, my son went from wavering around 0.4th centile at 2 months old to climbing the scales at 4 months and to above his birth line (25th centile) at 7 months.

We were really let down by some of the services that should have been there to support both of us. However, Luisa and Sian provided knowledgeable, comprehensive, tailored advice and information to myself - and the GP and local feeding team to share findings to try to obtain the support we needed. My goals for our breastfeeding journey were acknowledged and supported throughout this process, although I feel they'd have been totally supportive if I'd asked for support to switch to formula feeding too. I always felt like I was met with a great deal of honesty, care and never any judgement (even when I had a cry or was in a muddle from lack of sleep!)

The areas I've had support with have surrounded breastfeeding, expressing, supplementing feeding (including formula and SNS), tongue tie, cow's milk allergy, sleep and even recently on extended feeding as I am due to have a medical procedure.

This is my second child I've engaged with a lactation consultant for, they have been different kinds of journeys as the options for follow up support this time have been great. I cannot thank Luisa and Sian enough and I'd recommend No Milk Like Mamas to anyone looking for support.

Luisa performed a tongue tie assessment and division on our daughter at 13 days old. We were so impressed and grateful at the speed at which we were seen (less than two days despite it being a bank holiday weekend). Luisa is so knowledgeable and compassionate, the care with which she undertook the assessment was exemplary and really reassured us in making the decision to proceed with the division. She is clearly hugely experienced and committed to her own professional development. As a new parent, I was also touched by Luisa's care towards my husband and I at what was a bewildering and stressful time.
The division was successful and our daughter has been much happier know that she can feed more effectively.

Luisa is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Her assessment was thorough and she maintained strict hygiene throughout our tongue tie procedure. We are so pleased we found her service as it’s made newborn breastfeeding feeding possible for us. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

Luisa was a very friendly and very knowledgeable lady. She cared about my baby and didn't rush at all. She happily answered any questions and even sent a couple of text messages later that day and over the few days afterwards. The tongue tie being cut has helped my son with his feeding and made it easier for him to bring up his wind.

Sian came to our home to help with issues feeding my 7 week old and recurring oral thrush/nipple pain. I was feeling like I couldn't do it and was failing despite having breastfeed my son for 18 months previously. Within minutes she had identified tongue tie which had been missed, and explained everything to me. She gave me clear instructions on what to ask the gp for to treat the thrush and referred us to the NHS tongue tie clinic where we were seen a week later. She listened to me and watched me feed my daughter and made me realise how much I had achieved despite the challenges we both faced and I came away feeling empowered and quite proud of myself! I am so grateful for the time and support she gave us. The practical and emotional support got us through a really tough patch and we continue to breastfeed pain free now.

We contacted Luisa as we were concerned our daughter had tongue tie. She came out quickly and was very reassuring. She was very knowledgeable and was able to confirm the tongue tie issue very quickly. A few days later she performed the procedure quickly and effortlessly. Our daughter is now much better and happier as a result.

We had a full oral and feeding assessment with lovely Luisa. Luisa was able to tell us the most likely causes to our little ones symptoms and how we can improve them. Couldn’t recommend the service more

Sian came to visit us and was absolutely wonderful. We have a 3 week old and had been having some trouble with breastfeeding. Sian has a wealth of knowledge, and combined with her lovely personality she made us feel at ease, whilst helping us to identify some troubles we had breastfeeding. She really listens and provides a personalised, holistic approach giving us confidence moving forwards. Would thoroughly recommend.

A lovely, warm and welcoming space with plenty of time to chat with Sian and Rachel. Nice refreshments and a great variety of toys for all ages. Could have easily stayed longer! Will definitely return.

Luisa was fantastic and made the whole process as easy as it could be for the family. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We contacted Luisa in hope of some support following breastfeeding difficulties and suspicion of our baby having a tongue tie. Luisa was friendly and accommodating and saw us within 2 days. Our baby had his posterior tongue tie divided during the appointment. The appointment was thorough and we felt at ease with Luisa. She was very informative and compassionate throughout. The follow up support has also been great. We are so grateful for the support and service we received and will be recommending!

Luisa came to visit as I was struggling with breastfeeding my second daughter. From the start Luisa was understanding, non judgemental and made me feel completely supported. I didn’t feel pressured to make any decisions, rather, I felt that she was able to look at our situation rationally and offer suggestions that suited our family.
I feel that there can be some pressure to breastfeed regardless of the impact it has on one’s own well-being, as well as that of the family. I didn’t feel for a moment that Luisa was of this mindset, and felt comfortable in being completely honest about how I felt, my worries and feelings. The ongoing support since her visit have made me fee contained and supported it’s been like having a friend who is genuinely interested in how I am. I would recommend Luisa and the team to anyone without hesitation.

We were seen at the free tongue tie clinic today and they were amazing. They were super informative, amazing with my little boy and made me feel at so ease. The follow up already has been fantastic! So grateful for the team and the free clinic. I would 100% highly recommend if you feel your baby needs their tongue tie sorting!

Today We were lucky enough to get a place at the training. Clinic ran by Sharon and Dani, organised by Luisa.
The space where the clinic was at Earlham house clinic felt safe, and warm.

Firstly I want to say thank you, thank you for getting me squeezed in today, I can’t even explain how grateful I am.
Sharon and Dani were so so lovely, Dani took her time explaining everything, checking if I had any questions and I felt my little boy was in very safe hands having his tongue tie assesed/cut (frenulotomy). I feel so beyond grateful and blessed that we’ve been able to get it done! I didn’t have to stop and feed my little boy on the way home…. Which by the time we got home is the first time in 2 weeks he’s gone over an hour without wanting feeding….

After the clinic I sat in my car and cried tears of relief, so again, thank you.

We saw Luisa at the clinic in Norwich yesterday and for an appointment to assess her tongue we found a safe place, with Luisa being the most kind person !

Luisa was absolutely fantastic, we were able to make a face to face appointment within a few days. Luisa was extremely knowledgeable and gave us lots good advice, helpful tips and support. Almost immediately after our appointment I was able to exclusively breastfeed our 2 week old baby. His feeding has gone from strength to strength. I highly recommend Luisa if you are experiencing any tounge tie issues.

Going to the Baby Cafe is the highlight of my week. It’s helped me feel less alone as a first time mum, and Siân and Rachel are so endlessly supportive. It provides women with the village that we all truly need.
