Trying to contact them no luck

Trying to contact them for over a week. Registered for their news letter to receive 5%discount on my first order. The code has not arrived. Tried to ring customer services but no reply. Keep getting apologetic automated emails stating g they are very busy. I was going to place an order of several hundred of pounds! After reading some recent negative reviews I'll not bother using g this company. Shame as they have some super stock

Avoid avoid avoid

Avoid avoid avoid. Such a shame about the customer service. The order was very delayed and initially I was happy to wait; HOWEVER, when I asked to substitute the items that were out of stock for something else, they entirely IGNORED MY REQUEST and sent the items that were in stock and still then I was waiting for other plates. Don't bother, buy Portuguese ceramics instead.

Why all the bad reviews? I had a very good customer experience

I had a very good experince with Nordic Nest. Found the website easy to navigate and very attractive also product stylish. Ordered 4 chairs at a competitive price (they were on sale with a substantial discount) got them delivered within 10 working days. There was an issue with two of the chairs which had some defects on the staining of the wood. I contacted the customer service both on the phone (UK number) and by email and got prompt assistance. I was offered a 40% refund if I wanted to keep the chairs, alternatively to return them (cost of postage paid by them as the chair has a flow). In the end I decided to keep the chairs as I did not want to go through the process of sending them back to Sweden. Overall a very good customer experience

Nothing Right About This Company

Stay away. Item was listed as in stock when I placed the order. It wasn't - took 6 weeks to be shipped. Item finally arrived and it looked fine at first glance but failed the first test of structural engineering - it fell over. Took me 2 hours to flatten out the bottom with a grinder to prevent it from falling again. Are they stocking seconds? Picking out stuff from the bin? Nothing right about this company.

Be careful when ordering products

Be careful when ordering products. I ordered 2 lampshades and when they arrived the colour was nothing like the website images. Customer services take weeks to respond to emails. Initially they said they might pay for shipping but changed their mind. Returning them has cost me £120. I wouldn’t have bothered but the shades were £350 each. If you are in the UK you have to return at your own expense to Sweden which is not clear when ordering.

Amazing and exceeded all expectations

After reading some rather dodgy reviews I was quite hesitant to order. It seemed, while products seemed nice, there was a general frustration in the long wait for deliveries to arrive.
Luckily I had a month before my gf’s birthday and I had my eyes set on something a bit different I hadn’t seen anywhere else - so I thought I’d take the gamble…

I received the items, brilliantly packaged, in exactly 1 week from the date of my order. Coming from Sweden to UK that’s amazing. And the items are absolutely lovely.

With all the dodgy reviews out there, I thought I ought to share my praises on a very positive shopping experience - I can see myself gladly revisiting Nordic Nest for gifts in the future. Big thanks!

Ps. It’s possible, the delay some have experienced may be more down to the delivery companies having problems.

I actually think the reviews here are…

I actually think the reviews here are unfair. This company saved me a lot of money. The three lampshades I bought would have cost me about £250 each and nordic nest had them for significantly less than this. I was very prepared to wait longer and patience paid off as the lampshades arrived last week

Admittedly, they took about 6 weeks longer than the original 3 week lead time but I was emailed by them each time the order was delayed. I did email them after being informed of a second delay and they replied promptly and offered for me to cancel the order or continue to wait, telling me I was currently at the front of the queue for what I had ordered.

I chose to wait and they arrived after about 3 further weeks

Yes, it takes a long time to get what you want. But it is great value and I could have cancelled my order if I'd really got fed up.

Overall very happy with what I've received and how much I've saved.

>4 months waiting for a Xmas gift

Ordered my Christmas gift at the beginning of November, today the first of March I still haven’t received anything. I have to ask for updates myself, and every time I do, I’m told that there is a 12-14wks delay, if I perhaps want to cancel the order?

No thanks, I’d like to receive my Christmas gift. Preferably before next Christmas please..

Do not purchase if in the UK

Do not purchase from this company if you are based in the UK as there is no system in place to send returns to anywhere other than Sweden and it will cost a minimum of £15 for a small parcel.

Inappropriate palletising of orders and GenAI customer service reponses

For a very small Hay Woody shelving unit (4 boxes, one of which was longer, 2m), but all very manageable, they decided to not just put it all on a pallet, but a weirdly long pallet. Totally over the top and extremely annoying as what do I do now. with a 2-3m long pallet? Indeed, any pallet?! I have to dispose of it. With great difficulty. It will cost to have to dumped even at the recycling centre. Just so inappropriate. And, even though it was palletized, the boxes were damaged by that mode of delivery. And to top it all, the delivery guy left me someone else’s parcel - a box of Philips LED driver units! I complained - and basically got responses back that could only have been written by a GenAI / Chat GPT. No actually addressing of the issue - just loads of platitudes about how important I was as a customer and how they would try to address my complaints. Which they didn’t. I would not use them ever again. Period.

Zunächst negativ - hat sich positiv gewandelt

Am 30.01. hatte ich hier eine negative Bewertung abgegeben aufgrund unklaren Lieferstatus, ein Monat nach Bestellung.

Nordic Nest hat sich infolge mit mir in Verbindung gesetzt.

Es hat sich herausgestellt das ein Teil der Antwortmails automatisiert in meinem Spamordner abgelegt wurden.

Des Weiteren wurde mir ein rascher Versand zugesichert.
Am 07.02.2025 wurde mir der Artikel zugestellt.

Ich weiß nicht, ob das Ganze auch ohne die aktive Kontaktierung in die gleiche Bahn zu lenken gewesen wäre, bin aber sehr froh das ich konkrete Antworten erhalten habe und die Handlungen entsprechend ausgegeführt wurden.

Ich ändere aus diesem Grund die Bewertung auf 4 Sterne.

On 30.01. I left a negative review here due to unclear delivery status, one month after ordering.

Nordic Nest contacted me as a result.

It turned out that some of the reply emails were automatically filed in my spam folder.

Furthermore, I was assured of fast shipping.
The item was delivered to me on 07.02.2025.

I don't know whether the whole thing could have been handled in the same way without the active contact, but I am very happy that I received concrete answers and that the actions were carried out accordingly.

For this reason, I am changing the rating to 4 stars.

Avoid!!!

Really bad experience - ordered something ages ago, it didn’t arrive and I didn’t get any update. I had to consistently chase and then was reassured it would be shipped priority. They didn’t. It’s been over a month, I had to chase again. They tried to offer me a 10% discount for the delay! Still haven’t received my package…

Very disappointed with this company

Very disappointed with this company. I ordered a couple of cushions for almost £70, including expedited delivery. I received a DPD tracking number which consistently said "We have received your order ( meaning Nordic Nest's), but not the goods".
Very difficult to get much out of them - slow to reply, and they keep blaming customs. A week in customs, a couple of cushions?? Update: my package turned up today 3 weeks after placing the order. However, one item is significantly different to the description on the website, so now I have another fight on my hands to get a partial refund, and as I feared, it is proving very difficult. Never again!

Never arrived

Order placed. Shipment was returned to sender without any delivery attempt by DHL. When I requested for a replacement to be sent I was told it would be shipped imminently. No shipment information was received and no delivery arrived. When we queried a second time, we were told the item we ordered was no longer in stock. Eventually got drip fed a refund and so ultimately we ended up with no product and multiple international transaction fees from our bank for the debits and refund. We had hoped to have the Christmas item for our sons first Christmas and it just never arrived at all. Fairly unresponsive via email also. Poor customer experience.

Extremely slow delivery

Extremely slow delivery. I ordered several items in the Black Friday Sale. A few days ago (many weeks after placing my order), I received an email with an ‘update about delivery’ that said nothing else than that all items were in stock but one. I then contacted customer services who said they weren’t going to shop until the last item is back in stock (many weeks from now!). She then said if I want to, she can ship the goods they do have in stock right now ‘At no extra charge’. Unbelievably poor. I’m pretty sure this practice violates laws on distance selling. You can’t take two months to deliver an order just because one of the items is out of stock!

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!!!
Do not order ! Product from China and not from the Netherlands, the product is overpriced. It’s not possible to return it back or cancel the order . They are not providing the return label, so no money back .

Avoid ordering!

Everytime I make order it's at least 1month late. After 3 expensive calls to customer service they still don't know what to do. I highly recommend to avoid this company. It's full of lies and makes every excuse possible to make you buy products from them.
