I contacted NordicTrack Customer Care regarding an ongoing issue with my Commercial 2450 treadmill after cancelling my iFit subscription a few weeks ago. The console locks on a screensaver, forcing me to unplug and reboot the machine every single day just to access a manual workout.
The support call lasted 57 minutes and was confusing, inefficient, and ultimately created a very frustrating experience. At first, the rep confirmed I already had an account, then told me another one needed to be created in order to proceed with support. I was then asked to grant access to my phone’s camera so the representative could view my equipment menu to guide me in solving the issue, but what she was trying to do was never clearly explained in advance as well as not using the proper software terminology, so very confusing in trying to find a menu option that is clearly not available. I was repeatedly directed to tap a “Support” option that did not exist on my screen, then sent into Settings, where the representative still could not find what she was looking for. Power-cycling the machine three times during this step to locate the “Support” button did not resolve this.
During the call, I was instructed to restart the treadmill multiple times to complete a software update that never appeared to finish unless the machine was physically unplugged. This repeated failure was blamed on my home Wi-Fi, despite the fact that we have a reliable fibre network with no connectivity issues on any other devices.
Because the software update would grind away forever, again I was told to unplug the treadmill and use the “Start Manual Workout” button once it restarted and that I should be fine — despite clearly and repeatedly explaining that the problem is the screen freezing and requiring a daily power reset just to reach that button.
The software update finally completed and have now tested the manual workout button, the screensaver locking no longer happens but I still have to skip two screens asking to subscribe to iFit plus the usual iFit disclaimer, even though I am not using iFit, before being able to start my workout.
For a premium treadmill, this level of support and software behavior is unacceptable. The troubleshooting felt unstructured, the explanations unclear, and the representative appeared unfamiliar with known issues related to cancelled iFit subscriptions. Potential buyers should be aware that cancelling iFit can significantly affect basic usability, and resolving it may require lengthy support calls.
I hope NordicTrack reviews this case and improves both product behavior and support training, as this experience fell well below expectations.

If I could give negative stars, I would.
My husband ordered the NordicTrack X16 Elliptical for me for Christmas. It arrived on December 20, and I assembled it immediately. From day one, the resistance did not work at all. The touchscreen and handle controls would change the resistance numbers, but the actual resistance never changed. The machine was unusable.
I contacted NordicTrack right away. A technician didn’t arrive until December 31, ten days later. He discovered that a wire had been pinched in one of the pre-assembled sections, causing the resistance failure. He ordered replacement wires.
Those parts took another two weeks to arrive. Then we had to wait yet another week for a second technician appointment. By this point, the machine had been delivered for nearly four weeks and I still had not been able to use it once.
When the technicians finally returned, we were told the replacement wires were incorrect. The elliptical still could not be repaired.
NordicTrack offered to send out the “correct” wires, but based on their pattern, that would have meant waiting several more weeks. I requested a return instead. They initially refused, saying I was one day past the return window. This was outrageous, considering the machine had never worked. I wasn’t returning it because I didn’t like it. I was returning it because it was defective out of the box.
After pushing back, they agreed to accept the return and waived the return shipping fee, but I am still being charged a 10% restocking fee on a nearly $3,000 machine that never functioned.
The return was approved on January 22, 2026. A third-party pickup company called on January 27 to schedule a pickup for February 2. They never showed up. No call. No notice. No phone number to contact them. When I called NordicTrack again, I was told it would take another 1–2 business days to “hear back” from the pickup company.
This entire experience has been unacceptable from start to finish. Poor quality control, slow and ineffective service, and zero accountability. Do not buy directly from NordicTrack. If you’re considering equipment at this price point, buy from a retailer where you can try it in person and return it without jumping through hoops. There are plenty of comparable machines from other brands. Avoid NordicTrack.

Their treadmill are made cheaply for the expensive price tag. They undersell that you need to pay a monthly subscription to iFit if you want any functionality beyond a manual startup of your treadmill. And even then, its a wait to start your treadmill manually.

brand new machine, broken after 5 months.
45 MINUTES for the lady to um and aw about issues only to ask the same questions and then turn around and send me to another team who then proceeded to ask what was wrong... like i had not already spent almost an hour explaining the issues.

Shelly was amazing!! From start to finish. Not dwelling on how much frustration I had over my previous machine for more than two years, once Shelly got this incident for me, she really took care of me and fast. Shelly was very attentive and responsive to my emails.

Haven’t used the treadmill much so the review is more about who Nordic Track uses for financing. They use Fortiva which won’t allow you to select the minimum payment to make payments to take advantage of their interest free for 12 months promotion. In other words, they hope at the end of the 12 months you have a balance so you start paying interest. Based on the reviews here, I would recommend another product with any other financial institution than Fortiva

Edit* before purchasing I spoke to the salesperson Charles Booth who gave me his personal email if I had any problems. My concern was if something broke, and getting service. NordicTrack has a reputation for bad customer service.
After the sale he said it would take about a week for delivery and I never heard from anyone about setting up delivery like it said in the email. I emailed him and got no reply. I called iFit many times and was on chronic hold. Mr Booth has my email and phone number. I've never heard from or spoken to a person since he got the sale December 31st.
I'm Done with NordicTrack.
Never got the treadmill I paid over 2K On Dec 31st 2025 after two years of research and saving money. And was totally scammed. I was told I would be contacted to arrange delivery and assembly. I didn't happen after a week so I called - was on chronic hold. Emailed the salesperson - he never replied. Contacted Chase credit card, submitted a dispute and got my money back.

Just bought the 2450 Treadmill. The controls do not work well, which makes running difficult (especially intervals). There is no where to place your ipad or phone. They require you to purchase a $400 subscription to access any of the features of the treadmill. Shame on you Nordic Track.

We Purchased the NordicTrack 2450 treadmill and it arrived broken. The main computer did not work there for the treadmill did not work. The company then sent two more that still did not work. Then their customer service was worst! 10 hours total from trying to fix it and talking on the phone with them to try to fix it. Now I am returning it to never recommend this again. I will be looking else where

I went from being excited about purchasing a high incline treadmill, to furious at the most ridiculous policy I have ever encountered. It is asinine to be forced into an ifit subscription just to use Netflix app. I dumped over $3K purchasing this thing, I already pay for Netflix subscription, and I already pay for internet. Why should I pay you $39 / month to use Netflix? I don't need people telling me how to walk on a treadmill. No other tech does this. Apple doesn't make me pay a monthly fee to use Netflix on their devices. Panasonic doesn't force people to pay a monthly fee to use Netflix on their TVs. The rebuttal of Netflix is part of your iFIT software platform is a complete BS. You could easily separate the two, and if you can't then you clearly have the wrong software developers working for you. You clearly are doing this intentionally as a money grab. I can assure you I won't ever purchase a NordicTrack product again, and I dang sure won't subscribe to iFIT directly because of your stupid policy.

I've had a Nordictrack commercial 2950 for 9 years and because of a software update forced onto my machine over the weekend has rendered my treadmill USELESS! After several hours with tech software support and conversations with supervisors they will do NOTHING about it except give you a slightly better deal than the sale price of a new machine! Was told I have a "Legacy" machine and no longer supported. Totally unacceptable!!!

So I bought a Nordick Track Commercial 2450 Treadmill. It arrived and I assembled it. The screen did not come on. I spent over an hour on the phone with a tech reading from a screen to have her tell me it was a wire and that I needed to replace it. I had them send a tech since it involved opening the machine. Tech would not schedule until part in hand then another week. He finally came over and told me that it was not the wire, but the control consol. Then we order that part and he tells me he ordered it and it would be to me in a couple of days. I call a week later to find out Nordick Track never put the order in and now I had to wait again. It showed up over Christmas and I was out of town. The tech finally answered his phone in January and scheduled me out about a week (then cancelled due to car trouble pushing it out another couple of days). He came over, installed the new parts, still not working. He said it was the monitor. He ordered the monitor, I had to replace it, and now it comes on but will not load workouts. Have spent 2 hrs on hold waiting for a Supervisor and at least 5 hrs. overall. Plus (3) days off of work. Sitting on hold right now still waiting for a Supervisor so we can see how to get this thing working. Worst experience ever.

Shelly was kind, professional, and was able to anticipate questions I would have ahead of time. They provided links and phone numbers to resources that were applicable, and provided a list of next steps with time frames they should be completed in! Shelly even assisted with registration a month later when the machine finally arrived. I can't say enough wonderful things about this experience!
This treadmill is designed to make you UNHEALTHY.
The electronics keep failing - and have already been replaced - on a barely used machine I have had for 2 years.
I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!
THIS PRODUCT SUCKS!!!!!!
It is as bad as it gets, possibly worse.
Why is there no simple on and off switch/button/dial and a speed and incline control. The screen is a disaster. (even the brand new replacement one)

Hands-down, worst company. I bought a $3,000 treadmill from them and it was delivered not working. We’ve spent a week trying to get someone to come out and fix it but nothing. Their customer service is truly horrible. It’s really disheartening because I heard so many good things about this company but it’s definitely not true. Spare yourself and do not order any products from here.

We had the X24 delivered with the white glove service. The delivery was great but not the product. As soon as it was turned on the belt or motor made and continues to make a grinding sound. The installer said it sounded like something was wrong and call NordicTrack. Long story short, it will be 3 - 5 days before a service technician calls to schedule service. Who knows how long that will take. The only information we received from NordicTrack was to not use the treadmill until it is serviced. For spending several thousand dollars for the X24 treadmill and white glove service, this is poor customer service and poor quality control. I already regret this purchase and feel ripped off.

I was so disappointed when my NordicTrack treadmill wouldn’t turn on. We called the support line and spoke to a few different people through out the process. Ultimately my situation was escalated to Shelly. Shelly provided a very quick response and committed to having a new treadmill delivered to my house in a very reasonable time frame. Excellent customer service and a pleasure to communicate with. Thank you for dedication and your support. I love my new treadmill 😁
