Nordstrom Rack in Willow Grove

Nordstrom Rack in Willow Grove, Pa. offers a pleasant shopping experience. Two employees in particular made this so for me recently. Michele an attendant for the fitting room and Michele a cashier at the checkout, both cheerfully used their time and fashion sense to help me find the perfect pieces for an upcoming event!

Mistreated

Okay. I’m still sort of new at purchasing and returning items. First off I have purchase a few items and they come too me use so I take them back. Each time I return something two of the same females at the store give me a really hard time . Today was the worse day one of the ladies told me I could not return to the store once you try on an item that it is considered used
! If that’s the case most of the clothes I see in the store look second hand. She has no teeth in the front of her mouth and spoke to me without a mask on representing Nordstrom Rack what a shame. One of the items did not have a tag and still in the wrap never worn she treated me really disrespectful in front of customers, so I did the same thing to her and her troll crew. I will be reaching out to corporate about the situation. Nordstrom at North Point Alpharetta.Ga

Terrible online ordering

Terrible online ordering! I am getting married Sunday. And me and my future wife ordered Gucci watches to match our wedding colors. Nordstrom send my the wrong watch and the right one won’t be here in time for my wedding. They told me if i ordered another watch they would overnight it and i would have it in time. But now after i ordered it they are telling me it won’t be here in time. My wife is devastated! So now i have made two orders and don’t have watches for our wedding. Go in store STAY AWAY from the online orders!

They treat people horribly!! My son went to a scheduled interview and they wouldn't even interview him because he has long hair! Who are they to treat people like that??? Don't shop at the Bell Tower Nordstrom!

Good morning

Good morning, My name is Zelda Rideout, Order #491952037. I am a frequent shopper at Nordstrom Rack in Canton. I placed an online order on July 30, 2024. Part of my order was shipped to the Canton store and the remaining to your Lanham store. I live in near your Canton store and picked up two items and went back to pick up my remaining 7 items and learned they were at your Lanham store. it was difficult and not pleasant in getting your Lanham store to ship my items to your Canton store. After one week, I called your Canton store, spoke with Alex (Assistant Manager). He was the most helpful, pleasant, compassionate in upholding the best customer service I ever experienced in retail. He kindly kept me updated, even when the results were something I did not want to hear. In the end, he found my package. Alex, deserves to be the employee of the year and promoted to Manager for the service he has and continues to provide to Nordstroms customers. I had the pleasure of meeting Alex when picking my order and you can tell by his spirit that he represents and upholds in relaying excellence and outstanding customer service in assisting every customer with whatever their needs may be. Alex, deserves to be recognized for his above and beyond customer service provided in resolving and letting me know what he could do to assist no matter the outcome and always kept it professional and positive. This is fantastic to the customers in feeling confident in shopping at your Canton store knowing they will get fantastic customer service following their purchases.

Extremely disappointed I purchased a…

Extremely disappointed I purchased a pair of new balance tennis shoes which that’s pretty much all I wear for work every day (I’m in the dental field) and I’m a size 7. This is the first time I’ve ordered from Nordstrom‘s and the 7 does not fit me so I’m returning it and they’re charging me $10 for the return (I don’t live close to a Nordstrom at all) which I think is absolutely ridiculous, I called to see if I could get it waived as a courtesy one time thing and they said no.
This was the first and will be the last time I will order them !!

Wrong Shoe Size Sent Twice

Twice ordered the same pair of running shoes. Twice they sent the wrong size. I'm done trying, even if it is a bit less expensive than I could find elsewhere. Shipping is slow, about 7 days, so I've been without new running shoes for 2 weeks now.

Not worth the hassle.

Always the nicest shopping experience

Always the nicest shopping experience! The workers are always so helpful, especially Fran! So lovely, tried hard to find me a perfect swim suit! They’re all so lovely, just late in the season so my real size was not available but I got a designer one that was perfect! My favorite colors, olive green|black. So sexy and reduced!!! Thanks again Fran!!!

The Rack is a Hack

I love shopping at Nordstrom, but I have bad experiences with Nordstrom Rack. I purchased multiple “final sale” beauty products, but the first item I received had no protective seal and 3/4 of the product used up. I reported the problem to CS, requested a refund and reordered the item. The following day, they declined my refund in an email. I responded with a picture of what I received and a threat to report this issue all the way up the channel to corporate if I am not refunded. Literally, 10 minutes later I got an email confirming my refund.
When the reordered item came, I had some scepticism so I video the unboxng.
Shockingly the item had the same issue, opened and half the contents gone. Again, I demanded, and recieved a refund.
When the remainder of my order arrived, you guessed it, no seal, and product seemed used. Contact CS and returned it I am awaiting my refund. I can’t write what I think the problem is, but you can form your own opinion. So
I’m done with the Rack.

I purchased a beautiful nighty on…

I purchased a beautiful nighty on 7-10-24. I didn't take the time to try it on but, I wear a size medium. Of course when I got home I tried it on and it was a little snug. I called the store and spoke to a young man, Paul. I told him I would like to exchange it for a size large. I remembered they only had 3 on the rack. I asked Paul if someone would go to the rack and see if there was a large, and if so, could they hold it for me? Low and behold, yes, there was a large and yes, they would hold it for me. One hour later I arrived to do the excange. Everyone was very kind, professional and polite. And, Paul came over and introduced himself to me. I want to thank Paul personally for outstanding customer service, above and beyond, all of my expectations!!!!!
And finally, I'm very pleased with my new nighty!!! 💖

I am continually kicked off the website…

I am continually kicked off the website for "suspicious activity". I was unaware that shopping on their website was suspicious. Calling the customer service hotline does not help they just suggest resetting the cache which does not work either. I guess they do not want my money and if they don't want it I will give it to someone else...maybe Santa. At least I don't have to be accused of suspicious activity with him.

Caveat Emptor-this place should not be in business

If you've been reading the reviews, you have probably already come to the conclusion that this place really sucks. I could go into a narrative about how they treated me but why bother. Caveat Emptor if you are foolish enough to even consider doing business with this POS place.

It is so sad that some people like me…

It is so sad that some people like me could assume that Nordstrom Rack represent the face of Nordstrom. Definitely not even close and it is truly a rack. Customer service is bad. Buy only staff that you know you will not need to return. I will never go back to Nordstrom Rack. Nordstrom Rack definitely racks Nordstrom’s reputation. Very sad.

Changed amount without telling me

Online purchase of sandals via PayPal. Paypal sent a notice of purchase at first price of $63.67. Two days later a Paypal notice that "change in order" where price now is $64.41 but the price, tax and shipping charge is identical to first invoice. No one notices incorrect addition? Calling the retail seller yielded "oh, it must be a change in the tax, I'll check and get back to you". Well, you guessed it....never heard from them again! This ends my ties to any shopping with Nordstrom again.

Want to return a couple of tshirts from…

Want to return a couple of tshirts from two orders. My only option is to use Fed Ex at almost 10$ per box, can't return in one box. They refuse to give an address to return items to, refuse to give me a more convenient option than their chosen carrier. UPDATE: I did one paid return via their site, carefully packaged and clearly marked the other items in a separate bag for return and put all in one box. They deducted the price of two shipping labels from my return anyway, and then refused or could not tell me where the extra twenty bucks of my refund went until I escalated the case.

I bought a dress by mail

I bought a dress by mail. The Hem was totally uneven,! I took it to an alterations woman who said this dress had already been altered before and she could tell because the sewing was terrible and the thread used to alter did not even match the dress. I did not expect this from Nordstrom so I don't think I will ever use Nordstrom or Nordstrom rack. Again, if you can cheat customers, we don't need to buy it from you

Falsely claimed I returned an item

Will not be ordering from Nordstrom Rack's site again.

Company will list an item as being in stock when in reality, they have 0 items. Instead of getting a full refund, I got a notification telling me I returned my item. Because I "returned" the item I never received, they deducted a $9.95 return shipping fee from my refund amount. They also didn't refund the expedited shipping fee that I had paid.

Had to reach out to their customer support team to get the full amount refunded and it took way too long to figure out why this had happened in the first place.

The item in question is still up on their site as being in stock. So hopefully the next person this happens to realizes they don't get a full refund too so Nordstrom isn't getting a free $10+ for nothing.
